China Glaze Stripe Up a Cosmo from the Autumn Nights Collection is so glamorous and blingy, I feel like I need to pop in a grill, floss my neck with some mad ice, and get down with some crunking! 😉
Then again, when I look at China Glaze Stripe Up a Cosmo, thoughts of a proper debutante wearing white elbow-length gloves and a string of pearls spring to mind.
It has such an awesome finish – you’re going to love it, especially in the sunlight because it sparkles like the eye of a mad scientist!

China Glaze Strike Up a Cosmo Review
Colour
Strike Up a Cosmo by China Glaze is a polish that looks really complex when you inspect it up close and personal.
Overall, it looks like a super-blingy rose gold, but when you look at the polish closely, you can actually see the two colours separately – pink and gold! It’s actually really neat to see how the equal parts come together to look uniform.
Finish
It’s undeniable – Strike Up a Cosmo by China Glaze is a full-fledged shimmer that’s so jam-packed with sparkle, it comes across as a metallic foil!
This is the type of polish that looks exactly the same whether you apply a top coat or not.
And it feels smooth on your nails, not gritty or textured.
When you remove it, it requires more effort than a creme polish because of the shimmer flecks that want to stick to your nails, but it’s not so difficult to remove that you’d feel like you’re scrubbing your fingers raw.
Application & Formula
China Glaze is killing it with their amazing formulas in the Autumn Nights Collection, and this one’s no exception!
Even with the first coat, I got impeccable coverage. Then, when I added my usual minimum of two coats, it was absolute perfection.
This is such an easy polish to work with because not only is it pigmented, but the formula glides onto your nails well. It’s not runny, but not thick – just right!

This looks so gorgeous on you, love it
Hey Bebi!
Thank you so much! 🙂 I think this is a real show-stopper of a shade that would look wonderful on so many people!
Oooo it’s so shiny! LOL
Is it me, or in the right light does this polish look like the pink foil wrappers that is used on Easter candy? Maybe it’s me and my chocolate craving that’s making me see that. LOL
Hey Melissa!
Oh my goodness! Now that you mentioned it, I’m starting to drool, thinking about chocolate. What have you done? 😉
Jokes aside, yes, I can see that a bit. Never thought of it before. Haha, now when I look at the bottle, I’m going to think of Easter-egg wrappers!
