Reading #SwatchAndLearn has taught me to get out of my blue and green rut and try some new colors and nail shapes. I never thought I would wear some of the colors I now own and adore! It may not seem important but my nails are my indulgence.

I learned how to do dots and stripes! I’m not very good at nail art, but I’ve come to #SwatchAndLearn several times because of the tutorials, and they were really helpful, especially for dotticures.

I’ve learned it isn’t necessary to have a perfect manicure on your nails as long as you enjoy it 🙂
(and also that it isn’t at all weird to have over 500 polishes and still need more, and that one green definitely is not the same as another one and that wallets can actually hide and even cry 😉 )

This might sound silly, but I find I learn a lot about what’s available to Canadians and not, from you. Being able to follow a fellow Torontonian makes it relatable and exciting…also a little bit exclusive too since some things are close to home 😉

    Hi #SwatchAndLearn !

The main thing I learned from you, and to date it’s still my favorite thing about your approach to blogging is this: Treating your readers as peers, and interacting with them regularly, is the way to every nailphile’s heart. You made yourself very friendly and approachable, and I think that is what really stands out- people come for the polish, but we stay for the camaraderie!

    # swatchandlearn has taught me a better way to shop for polish. Instead of letting the pretty colors dictate what I buy, I’ve learned to purchase based more off of the qualities I like in a polish. Overall, you’ve taught me to be a more conscious polish shopper 🙂

That’s Hula-rious! nailpolish by OPI is a cool-toned mint green that can work with winter or warmer seasons. I always used to think pale greens were Easter-ONLY but this shows how it can work year-round, especially if it is not a glitter/shimmer polish.

I’ve learned at #SwatchAndLearn that I’m not the only one who loves bold colours on the nail.

I’ve also learned that you have the most accurate swatches and I can rely on them, when it comes to ordering polishes, that I can’t check out in person and/ or in the right light conditions here. (Like China Glaze or OPI)

And at last I’ve learned that whenever I visit your site, which is quite often since I follow you at twitter and facebook to never miss anything, I usually lemming for new polishes. That can’t be healthy 😀
