OPI This Gown Needs a Crown Swatches & ReviewOPI This Gown Needs a Crown is from the Miss Universe 2013 Collection, and it features a textured satin finish.

Unlike the OPI Liquid Sand finish, this satin finish is much smoother, although it’s not shiny. I can best describe it as feeling like sea glass (frosted glass).

This satin finish is supposed to be worn as-is, without a top coat, so that’s exactly how I wore it and it’s what you’re seeing in all the photos in this post.

I really love the subtle texture, and even if you aren’t a fan of the trendy gritty textures out there, you may want to try this one because it’s much, mucchhhh smoother.

You also get a cool sparkly crown ‘ring’. It’s a cute little accessory that you’ll find wrapped around the handle of the bottle.

Dotticure OPI Miss Universe 2013 Collection Nails Nail ArtThere are 3 limited-edition shades from the OPI Miss Universe 2013 Collection, and when I took one glance at them, I knew I’d have to wear them together in some playful nail art.

Since I was strapped for time, I decided to whip out my trusty double-ended dotting tool to create this quick and simple look.

Using a dotting tool is as fun as popping bubble wrap, and since I hadn’t created a dotticure in a long time, it was fine time!

You know what? I has been ages since I tried any of the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri nail polishes, and it’s very strange because I’m nearly always tempted to bring one of the shades home with me whenever I frequent the drugstores.

Okay, so I may be biased about loving No S-pear Time, but it really blew me away.

Sally Hansen Midnight Glitz Swatches & ReviewSally Hansen Midnight Glitz is one of the amazing, glittertastic nail polishes in the Wonderlust Holiday Collection, which will hit stores in November.

This nail polish is marketed as a layering polish, so that’s exactly how I chose to wear it. Haha, and it didn’t take long for me to come up with a colour combination!

Although this sparkle diva is supposed to be more for the December holidays, I was itching to give it some Hallowe’en flavour. (After all,  my favourite holiday is Hallowe’en!) So, I went with a pumpkin-friendly orange, China Glaze Papaya Punch.

The overall effect is exactly what I was aiming for, and it’s making me look forward to October 31st even more!

This hot tamale not only has a sultry colour, but the formulation on this is a joy to paint with.

As you know, I don’t usually go nuts over red nail polishes. (There have been just a few exceptions.) This one got me excited because it has a vampire-esque, cloak-of-darkness attitude with an edgy attitude.

Dark and mysterious, China Glaze Charmed, I’m Sure is a very sexy polish because, as you’ll notice, it’s incredibly shiny!

(You may remember me gushing over this nail polish on Instagram not long ago!)

The Autumn Nights Collection is spectacular so far, and it looks like China Glaze is on point again with brilliant colours and formulas to match.

China Glaze Strike Up a Cosmo Swatches & ReviewChina Glaze Stripe Up a Cosmo from the Autumn Nights Collection is so glamorous and blingy, I feel like I need to pop in a grill, floss my neck with some mad ice, and get down with some crunking! 😉

Then again, when I look at China Glaze Stripe Up a Cosmo, thoughts of a proper debutante wearing white elbow-length gloves and a string of pearls spring to mind.

It has such an awesome finish – you’re going to love it, especially in the sunlight because it sparkles like the eye of a mad scientist!
