The beautylish team whipped up an article aboutΒ holiday manicure ideas. They included photos of manicures done by fellow members. I was honoured to have been included among such a talented group of women!

Below is the screenshot. Check it out, and get inspired by the others’ nails that are full of personality! (And if you’re not already a member, sign up – it’s free!)

To achieve this look, I layered two nail polishes from the Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez Collection due out in January 2013: Kissed At Midnight (gold glitter) and Pretty in Plum (purple).

      Hey Frosso!

Glad to hear it! Vivian did a wonderful job, and she was really patient with me when I kept asking her to add some things to the banner. πŸ™‚ Plus she’s very talented and creative, so she came up with many great ideas, too!

      Hey Lynette!

Thank you! πŸ™‚ Layering glitter over an existing manicure is something I really enjoy doing because I get more wear out of the base colour, but give it a little update so it doesn’t get boring.

Yay – glad my comment helped you feel even just a little better on a bad day. If you promise to not stop the wonderful work you do on this blog….I will promise to comment more often (cuz telling you I follow you…well…it’s unsatisfying, I know). OK? πŸ™‚
P.S. Did I tell you that you created a Lana del Ray fan outta me? I have downloaded 2 albums so far…. πŸ™‚

          Hehe, it’s a deal! πŸ™‚ *e-handshake*

So awesome that you ended up really loving Lana Del Rey. She’s such an incredible talent, and I hope she continues to put out more songs. But…I read somewhere that she said she sung everything she wanted to and put out all the messages she had in her, so she wouldn’t make any other songs. I hope that source was wrong! Artists like her need to keep going and contribute to (and inspire others in) the industry.
