Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray Review & Pictures

Remember the Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray that I showed you in a previous Haul of Shame post? No? Haha, well, that’s probably because it was back in November 2012!

I’ve been using Urban Decay All Nighter Monday through Friday for the last 5 months, and there’s still some product left. After using it so much, I now feel comfortable giving you my in-depth report.

You know what? I wanted to try Urban Decay All Nighter for a long time, but what stopped me before was the price, which I found to be high. Plus I had never used any setting spray before.

So, was it worth the money? Will I be repurchasing it? Or was it a let-down? You’ll soon find out!

Note: Since I purchased this in 2012, my bottle has different packaging than the new one out this year. With the new packaging, Urban Decay changed some of the ingredients to improve the product. (I’ve listed the ingredients for both in case you’ll find it helpful.)

Although I rarely make New Year’s resolutions, I decided to make one for blogging.

I was going through my old computer files and came across a few manicures and product photographs that never made it on here. I plan to go back, and let them all see the light of day.

Back in October, I punched up a pink manicure with some glitter.

I came across photos of Sally Hansen Fa-la-la-lavender layered over Nicole by OPI Carnival Cotton Candy (from the Carrie Underwood Collection).

Wherever you are, I hope that you’re having a blast!

I want to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you who have visited my blog, left a comment, interacted with me on social media, and supported me in 2013.

Your encouragement and love never cease to amaze me, and I’ll never take it for granted.

In case any of you are wondering, the manicure above was something I painted back in the summer, I think. It never saw the light of day on this blog, though. But, since I’m wishing you a bright 2014, it was appropriate. 😉

OPI Love Angel Music Baby Swatches & Review OPI Love. Angel. Music. Baby. is a champagne nail polish that’s part of the highly anticipated OPI Gwen Stefani Collection that’s set to be officially released in January 2014.

It’s right around the corner!

Aside from being such a classy colour, what I like about it is the unique satin finish, which I can best describe as frosted glass.

It’s designed to be worn without a top coat, and I think that if you slick a shiny top coat over this, it completely defeats the purpose.

I think that even if you’re not yet on the textured trend, a satin finish like this can ease you into it because it’s halfway between a textured polish and a shiny one.

Hey everyone!

I hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas and are spending it with loved ones!

Since I’ll no doubt be very busy today and the next little while, please note that I may be slower to reply to messages than usual.

Also, since I have limited access to the internet while spending time with my mom for Christmas, you can expect my next blog post sometime the following week. (I’ll be showing you one of the shades from the OPI Gwen Stefani Collection in-depth.) I may poke around a bit on social media, though.

China Glaze Your Present Required Swatches & Review (Layered Over OPI Love. Angel. Music. Baby.)

I had been drooling over China Glaze Your Present Required from the Happy HoliGlaze Collection ever since I first heard about it in the press release.

NailPolishCanada was kind enough to send it to me to try, and I’m so excited to share my review and swatches of it with you.

Christmas is the perfect time to bust out the glitter, but, really, whenever I want to freshen up an older manicure. Plus sometimes if you need a little pick-me-up, glitter is the easy and quick fix.

At first, I was going to layer it over a blue or purple, but since I was already wearing OPI Love. Angel. Music. Baby. from the Gwen Stefani Collection, I thought it would be cool to see what it’d look like on top of it. (I feel like the glitter really contrasts against the pale-gold base, so you can better see each piece.)
