In January, I had a pleasant surprise waiting for me when I got home from work – the Essie Spring 2015 Collection, which will be available in drugstores, salons, and other beauty locations across Canada in March!
The Essie Spring 2015 Collection was under embargo, which is why I shared a little black-and-white photo as a teaser on Instagram.
Today, I’m finally allowed to share them with you, so here’s my post with Essie Spring 2015 Collection swatches, bottle shots, and the official press release!
I’ve worn all of them already as full manicures, so expect upcoming in-depth reviews with tons of swatches, as usual.
If there are any shades that you’re most interested in seeing, let me know, and maybe I can work on a post for this week.
There are 6 shades in the Essie Spring 2015 Collection:
- Flowerista
- Petal Pushers
- Garden Variety
- Blossom Dandy
- Picked Perfect
- Perennial Chic
Note: All photos were taken with my camera’s flash, unless stated otherwise.

Essie’s PR provided me with this beautiful box filled with the 6 nail polishes, the booklet featuring the Essie Spring 2015 Collection, and the official Essie look book (with tons of pages) that shows how the polishes tie into fashion! (I wanted to show you all the pages, but there were too many to photograph!)
When you slide off the frosted-plastic sleeve, it reveals the gorgeous Essie Spring 2015 Collection!
I took a few photos of the booklet (not the look book):
There’s a nail-art tutorial that shows you how to do a cute floral dotticure!
Essie Spring 2015 Collection Press Release
The profusion of petals on the runway and on the most stylish streets announces the spring like the season’s first flowers, breathing beauty and life into everything. It’s a reawakening of our senses and our palette a time to express oneself in vibrant, beautiful colours. Whether the look is futuristic minimalism or nouveau bohemian, the name of the game is major flower power. From the sartorial bouquets brightening up Instagram feeds, to the urban chic of a lacy minidress, this season is a mad-dash for the eternally modish motif: florals.
Spring’s hero shade is inspired by what essie calls a floweriest: a fashionista who creates her signature style from floral-inspired fashions and the exquisite beauty of gardens in bloom. This season’s go-to botanical look is more than a budding trend, it’s every woman of style’s opportunity to stock her wardrobe with essie looks to last a lifetime.
Can’t wait for spring’s first bloom to sport your favorite petal pushers? Prefer the garden variety over all others? Well, it sounds like a true connoisseur of florals – a real flowerista. Now is the moment to create a wardrobe that is picked perfect, because just like spring itself, blossom dandy style always comes back in fashion – it’s perennial chic.
essie’s Spring 2015 Collection will be available in drugstores, salons and other beauty designations across Canada in March 2015.

Which shades are your top picks? Are you looking forward to the spring? Do you have any spring traditions like ‘spring cleaning’?
Garden Variety really wants to come home with me…it said so 😛
Hey Karen!
Well, that’s settled! You can’t turn it away! 😉
Nice selection of colors. I really like their promo picture with the dotted flowers.

Hey Lizzy!
Yes, that nail art is so pretty, and I like how it’s composed of dots, so it’s easy to replicate.
Very pretty colors! Can’t wait to see more of these! Thanks as always for sharing!
Hey Melissa!
Thanks for looking!
Hmm, I’m just not sure… I would definitely wear ‘Flowerista’ – *gorgeous!*- but as a collection, it doesn’t really say Spring to me? I’m on the fence for now… cute tutorial though! I’d still use my favourite as a base, but add other colours from my stash instead 🙂
I do love a sneak peek at new collections – thanks babe! <3 Tx
Hey TishK!
Really? For me, it’s very spring-like! In any case, you can wear these shades any time of year! 🙂
Glad you liked this sneak peek. More to come!
I really like the first 3. The last 2 look too similar
Hey Sandra!
They would look nice in nail-art combined with brighter shades!
Thank you s much for showing us such great close ups.
I just have one question about these. Are any of them Crellies? Jelly/Creme?
Those kinds are of course my favorite but I love these colors and was hoping
that maybe one or more had that kind of formulation.
Thanks again, you did a beautiful job. :o)
Hey Mandy!
Yes, many of them seem to be very shiny, but still creamy and opaque. The ones that immediately come to mind from this collection are Flowerista and Garden Variety.
Thank you – so glad you enjoyed this post!
