A while ago, some of my wonderful readers asked me how certain OPI nail polishes compared, so I put together this post.
Two of the lacquers are from the Hawaii Collection: OPI Is Mai Tai Crooked? and OPI Aloha from OPI.
The other three I compared them with were OPI Where Did Suzi’s Man-Go?, OPI Toucan Do It If You Try, and OPI Live. Love. Carnaval, which are from the Brazil Collection!

I’m trying to tell myself Is Mai Tai Crooked? and Where Did Suzi’s Man-Go? are just too close to each other to justify having them both (they’re not greens after all) but for some reason I can’t seem to get through to my brain 😉

Great comparison post! My guess is Aloha from OPI is more like Red Lights Ahead Where? from the Holland collection, but that is just my guess. Red Lights Ahead Where is one of my all time favorite cremes!

Thanks a lot Mary, very helpful 🙂 Looks like I won’t be needing the orange from the Hawaii collection since I already own Where did Suzi’s man-go and those two look a lot a like. Bit suprised tho by the difference in Live love carnaval and Aloha from Hawaii! Thought they would be a lot more a like.

The two melon colors are almost dead on dupes except that Suzi’s Man-go has a wee bit of shadow in it. I suppose they are close enough to not need both. The other three though are not the same at all and to a polish hoarder/obsesser they are all needed.

I have Live.Love.Carnaval and I’d love to have another polish that’s similar to it BUT with a hint more orange / leaning more towards orange but is still in that corally-red family.
What polish would you recommend? 🙂

Out of all the polishes I mentioned in this post, my favourites were Aloha from OPI and Toucan Do It If You Try. I remember loving those manicures when I wore them a lot!
