My obsession with red nail polish started with…a pair of shoes. Yes, you heard right. I own these red pumps with just the perfect shade – it’s a look-at-me red that’s dark, glossy and ever-so slightly vampy.
Whenever I see an awesome color, I always imagine what it would look like on my nails. Am I the only one? Anyway, since then I’ve been on the search for that color in nail polish. Nubar Risque Reds Collection Enchanting Red is the closest I’ve gotten. It’s so gorgeous!

Nubar Enchanting Red Review
When done right, reds are my favorite color for nail polish. But I find that a lot of red nail colors are either too pink, too brown, too purple, too primary color, etc. etc. Nubar Enchanting Red is just perfect for me. It’s a classic red with lots of dark depths to it. Love.
Nubar Enchanting Red isn’t flat, either. The shimmery finish gives the top curve of my nail a brilliant red shine, while the edges of my nails are deep. I would stare at my nails all day if work didn’t get in the way.
And as with all Nubar formulas I’ve tried, this one’s smooth as silk. It goes on evenly and is so easy to work with. It dries fairly quickly, so you don’t have to wait forever in between coats.
One coat, however, is not opaque enough, so you have to wear two. But I normally do anyway so it’s not an extra step for me. It finishes with a nice sheen, and with a top coat, it just shines so beautifully!
