I like switching up my shower gel occasionally just so I don’t get stuck in a rut. Plus there are always new scents available, so it’s exciting to try new things.
To me, shower gels aren’t huge commitments because after just a couple of months or so, you can easily finish a bottle, and you’re onto the next.
Recently, I tried the new Dial Lavender & Twilight Jasmine Body Wash, which is antibacterial.
I haven’t tried many Dial body washes, so I decided to give this one a go!

Dial Lavender & Twilight Jasmine Body Wash Review
Fragrance
The floral fragrance is very light, so even for a person like me who has a sensitive snout and gets a headache from strong florals, this one posed zero concern.
It doesn’t smell just like flowers because there’s a slight sweetness that reminds me a little bit of candy. Actually, it’s probably because of this candy-like note that makes me like the blended fragrance more!
Although you can enjoy the scent in the shower mildly (it’s not one that completely infuses your bathroom), by the time you rinse off and dry your body, the scent that lingers on your skin is so faint, you’d have to really sniff to detect it or put your nose up to your skin. For this reason, don’t worry at all about the scent interfering with your eau de parfum.
Efficacy
The Dial Lavender & Twilight Jasmine Body Wash lathered very well, and after showering, my skin felt clean and without any weird film left on it. Also, I didn’t feel like my skin was tight or stripped of moisture, which is very important. (Especially when the weather has been changing a lot, it’s harder for my skin to adjust, so it has been on the drier side. It’s good that this body wash didn’t exacerbate any dryness.)
Value
The beauty of shower gels is that they’re usually very inexpensive, which means you never feel like you’re dropping a whole wad of cash just to try out something.
This holds true with the Dial body wash. The retail price is just $4.99 CAD, and considering that you’ll be using it for months, it works out to just pennies a day. Can’t complain about that!

Final Verdict: 8/10
The Dial Lavender & Twilight Jasmine Body Wash makes for a pleasant showering experience with a mild fragrance and a formula that cleanses skin well.
If you’d like to try a new shower gel, you may want to give this one a shot!
What shower gel are you currently using? Which is the bests body wash you ever used? Are you loyal to a particular shower gel, or are you like me and switch it up every now and then?
I love this body wash. Dial makes several different scents/kinds that are really nice. The one with Coconut Water is really nice.
Hey Melissa!
I will definitely have to try more soon! (Actually, I have 3 more that are in my closet – need to test them out and then rotate between them all.)
I have a lot of body washes and rotate between them depending on my mood. LOL
The way I see it, it’s like a fun buffet of shower gels! Makes getting ready in the morning much more enjoyable, especially because I’m soooo not a morning person, even though I want to be.
