China-Glaze-Crinkled-ChromeIn January 2014, the China Glaze Crinkled Chrome Collection will be coming out!

I’m pretty excited about these 6 shades because you already know that I’m a fan of the textured-nail trend!

Just when you think that companies will exhaust the various ways to put a new spin on textures, they do something different.

Which shades in the China Glaze Crinkled Chrome Collection are you most looking forward to trying?

      Hey Melissa!

It seems like there’s no middle ground when it comes to this collection. People either strongly hate it or love it. I’m looking forward to trying at least one because I love textured polishes. This is a new twist on them, so it intrigues me.

I’m interested to see swatches of these. I saw them at my local Sally’s last week and they looked terrible on the swatch plates. I’m super curious to see what it actually looks like on the nail…I’m not going to be the guinea pig though. lol

      Hey Camille!

When China Glaze sent me this press release, I did ask if any samples were available. I’ll definitely share my manicures, if they send anything. If they don’t, I still want to track at least one down. This new crinkled finish looks interesting!

I’m with Camille! I saw a few swatches, and I’m not so sure I’m willing to part with my hard earned dollas to be the guinea pig either. I’m curious to see yours (and other bloggers) review on them.

      Hey Karen!

Keep your fingers crossed then! Hopefully China Glaze will send some my way. But, if not, I don’t mind being the guinea pig. I would buy at least one to try. I’m too curious! 😉

I dunno about these. I’ve seen a couple of swatches and I was unimpressed. It was like a toned down version of texture polish, except when you tone down texture, you end up with something that just looks like poorly applied polish. Or old polish that got clumped up and won’t apply evenly. Releasing something like that, especially in a finish that’s notorious for being difficult to apply well? I think that’s a recipe for disaster. I’m prepared to be pleasantly surprised, but I don’t expect to be :/

Ah well, every company has a dud idea every now and then, right?

      Hey Fedoraharp!

I haven’t been looking around for swatches of these because I really want to try them myself. Sometimes I see things on others that I love, but it doesn’t look so hot on me. Or even the reverse. So I really am all about trying it myself. I’m actually excited to try it because people are so polarized on this collection!
