I am very excited to announce that I found the most near-perfect night cream for me. Ever. And I’ve tried many and many.
Let me cut to the chase: Marcelle Essentials Hydration Night Cream gives me the hydration my dry skin needs. Yes, my skin feels super soft even when I wake up in the morning.
Why do I call it just “near-perfect”? Well, I’m demanding. I’d like to see someone or some brand create a cream that lasts 24 hours. This little baby does the trick for about 10 (an estimate – don’t quote me please), which is good. During the day though, my skin relies only on the hydration of my moisturizer with SPF, which isn’t enough. But that’s the only picky negative thing I can say about this cream.

Marcelle Hydration Night Cream Review
I was browsing/shopping at Shoppers when I came across the sale sticker for this. I thought to myself: for $10, it’s worth a try. And dang, was it a good try. Previously, I had used the Vichy Aqualia thermal Light Cream Fortifying & Soothing 24HR Hydrating Care as my night cream. It’s an okay moisturizer that underwhelmed me, while setting me back $35+.
But the Marcelle Essentials Night Cream is so overwhelmingly good. The texture scared me a little at first. Other than it being slightly pink, it looks kind of thick. But don’t worry! It goes on so light and soft – it doesn’t clog the skin at all.
After one application, my skin is instantly more supple. You really can’t help but keep touching your face to feel just how soft it is. It is fast-absorbing, too. Your skin won’t feel sticky or oily as it tries to take in all that hydration. The formula of this Marcelle night cream really is excellent.
It’s one night cream you can trust to keep its promise. I feel like it works hard while I sleep just so I can wake up happy with how touchable my face becomes.
I also find the Marcelle Essentials cream to be calming. I have a tendency to pick at my dry skin (sorry, gross detail), which irritates and causes some spots to become sensitive. Applying this all over my face seems to soothe out those sensitivities.

Final Verdict: 9.5/10
I definitely recommend giving the Marcelle Hydration Night Cream a try. Even if you don’t catch it on sale and it’s a few dollars more, it’s totally worth it. I’m so, so impressed with this Marcelle night cream that I’m going to try their moisturizer with SPF!
Note: Marcelle has changed the look of the jar. It’s still very similar, but it’s now less round and slightly more squarish.
Have you tried this cream that’s knocked my socks off? If so, share your experience!
