Are you looking for a bright polish that walks on the neon side?
China Glaze Bottoms Up from the Sunsational Collection is a fun one to wear when the weather’s gloomy because it doesn’t let Mother Nature get it down!
It’s a bubblegum pink with a hint of purple, and on my skin tone, it really popped! When I wore this, strangers were looking at my nails as I walked by. (I love it when a statement colour has the ability to turn heads, don’t you?)
China Glaze Bottoms Up is from the Cremes half, and it was one of my favourites from the set.

China Glaze Bottoms Up Review
Colour
Bottoms Up by China Glaze is predominantly pink, but there’s definitely a bit of purple running throughout. It’s a Barbie pink.
But, oh man, this is a bright, beautiful shade that’s girly and that makes me want to hit the beach! It’s perfect for the summer, and if you have tanned skin, I think this shade would pop even more than it does on me.
This is one of those statement nail polishes that you wear and that will have people asking what’s on your nails.
Finish
This has a creme finish, so it’s very simple and easy-to-remove.
Application & Formula
Since Bottoms Up by China Glaze has neon qualities, it dries a little streaky and looks matte. To really maximize the brightness and to get it to look its best, I think wearing a shiny top coat is mandatory.
With the top coat, it springs to life, and on me, it almost had an interesting effect as though I was wearing pink plastic! Really neat!
I used 3 coats because I wanted the result to be completely opaque, and I also wanted to make the neon as intense as possible.
The formula was creamy, and although streaky, it was otherwise wonderful to work with.

Final Verdict: 9/10
I really enjoyed wearing Bottoms Up by China Glaze! No, it’s not my favourite neon that I’ve worn to date, but it is one that I like a lot and that I will wear again.
Gotta love a bright manicure to pick up your spirits! 🙂
Do you prefer pink neons that are mainly pink or that have a little purple? What neon colours do you wear the most? Do you wear neon clothes?
Such a cute pink! I love how bright it is
