Earlier today, I shared swatches and my review of Illamasqua Speckle.
This is a quick second post for today because I received the official press release for the OPI Couture de Minnie Collection coming out in June! Wanted to share it with all of you ASAP!
It consists of 5 nail polishes in girly red and pink shades.
Unlike the previous limited-edition OPI Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection, this time around, Ms. Mouse shows us her fashionable side.
The sketches of her all glammed up make me giggle because she’s pulling the ‘model face’.
The ones I’m most excited about are Magazine Cover Mouse (a new Liquid Sand!) and Minnie Style (red and white glitter).
Do you think you’ll be picking up any of these nail polishes?
There are 5 shades in the OPI Couture de Minnie Collection:
- Chic from Ears to Tail
- A Definite Moust-Have
- Minnie Style
- Innie Minnie Mighty Bow
- Magazine Cover Mouse (Liquid Sand)
The official press release sent to me by PR:
High Fashion Minnie!
OPI Walks the Runway with New Couture de Minnie Nail Lacquers,
Inspired by Minnie Mouse
OPI announces the launch of its Couture de Minnie collection, including four limited edition nail lacquers and one new Liquid Sand™ shade. Created in honour of Disney’s beloved character, the Couture de Minnie line explores the fashion-forward side of Minnie Mouse, mixing pink, fuschia and red shades with textural elements. In addition to three crème lacquers, the Couture de Minnie line features a red and white polka dot glitter shade and the strawberry-hued Liquid Sand nail lacquer in Magazine Cover Mouse to give nails a sparkly, matte finish.
“Last summer, OPI created a ‘Vintage Minnie Mouse’ line. Women around the world fell in love with the fun and playful shades evocative of Minnie’s traditional look,” explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “This year, OPI is exploring a different side of Minnie Mouse. The Couture de Minnie collection draws inspiration from Minnie’s iconic style and incorporates trends most recently seen on the runways, from standout shades to fun textural elements.”
The Couture de Minnie collection includes:
Chic from Ears to Tail

Do any of these shades interest you? If you could design your own Minnie Mouse shade, what would it look like?
I’m not usually one for glitters, but I think I might need Minnie Style!! I like these better than the first Minnie collection
Hey Michaela!
I agree with you – think that this second Minnie Mouse collection is more intriguing!
OPI really loves Minnie Mouse, huh? lol Probably won’t be getting any of these, but I can’t wait to see the glitter one swatched.

Hey Lizzy!
Hehe, do you think that Mickey Mouse is getting jealous? 😉
*Yawn* These colors are so unoriginal. Except for the 2 you mentioned, the glitter and LS, these could easily be from last year’s Minnie collection or practically any other collection OPI has done recently. With the possible exception of the glitter, I’ll be passing on this collection.
If I could design my own Minnie polish, I’d do a Mickey Mouse and bow shaped glitter in clear. If they can do hearts, stars and moons, why not mice and bows?

Hey Another Cristina!
Bow-shaped glitter would be so much fun to wear layered over lots of other shades. 🙂 Aww, mice and bows!
Won’t be picking up any of the creamy shades I think, but I really like the glittery one!
Hey Renee!
The glittery one looks like it’ll be really fun to play around with, that’s for sure!
The liquid sand looks nice, but the red and white glitter would be great for Canada Day!

Hey Margo!
That’s a great idea! I may just have to sport it for July 1st if I get this baby! 🙂 Thanks for the suggestion.
I’m glad they are including a red and white glitter this time! I was so disappointed in the first minnie collection that they didn’t have one, it only made sense to me!

Hey Frosso!
I hope that they knock it out of the park with that glitter! 🙂 I can see the potential!
I plan on getting all 5 of these, and I’m looking forward to the glitter one the most. Honestly, I can do with or without the light pink one, but I saw it comes in the mini set so I’ll be getting it regardless. I like the mini bottles because my nails are kind of small and narrow.
Hey Tanya!
Wow! The whole collection – enjoy it!
My nails are small and narrow, too. I love the mini polishes especially for my toenails (the rare time I paint them). The mini brushes are just the right size.
I love these nail polishes. My dil will love them too.
Hey Susie!
Stay tuned, then, because in the coming week, I’m going to review the collection in separate blog posts (as usual). 🙂 You’ll get to see them in more detail this way.
