Nail Art: OPI Liquid Sand Nails with Tiffany Case & Honey Ryder

OPI Liquid Sand Nail Art Tiffany Case & Honey RyderHand me a shovel already because I’m seriously digging the OPI Liquid Sand nail polishes so far!

I just couldn’t resist playing around with two Liquid Sands from the OPI Bond Girls Collection (which comes out in May) – Tiffany Case (blue) and Honey Ryder (gold).

Since I was already wearing OPI Honey Ryder, I decided to do a quick-and-dirty Scotch Tape manicure that I’ve tried before with other colours. So…here’sĀ OPI Liquid Sand Nail Art!

This time, though, instead of having all the triangles pointing the same way, I flipped alternating nails to keep it interesting.

For some reason, they remind me of icicles or raindrops, even though the look wasn’t intentional.

I wore OPI Honey Ryder, the gold Liquid Sand, quite some time ago, so expect a few on it soon. I have all the photos – just need to get down to croppin’ them!

Have you done any nail art with the Liquid Sands? Even if you haven’t, what colours would you pair together?

      Hey Erin Ortiz!

Thanks! šŸ™‚ I’m trying to think up some other designs I can do with the Liquid Sands. The bonus with them is that they dry so fast – hardly any wait time!

Have I mentioned lately how much I love you? lol This looks AMAZING!! I never would have thought to use tape over texture polish, and the alternating triangles look SO cool! Way more interesting than all in the same direction. If you’re interested, I tagged you in my last post. Ya know, in case you’re at a loss for Smorgasbord Sunday or something…. šŸ˜‰

      Hey Lizzy!

Haha, thank you! šŸ™‚ I love my readers, too! You are the best!

It was a little tricky using tape over the texture. I had to really press the tape down to make sure it’d stick. But, the bonus is that the Liquid Sands dry so quickly, so there’s hardly any wait time!

      Hey another Cristina!

Haha, getting the tape to stick on the Liquid Sand was a little tricky. The pieces kept wanting to pop off, but I just had to keep pressing them down hard.

Very cool look Mary! Honey Ryder looks versatile to me, like it could be paired with several of the other liquid sands to create interesting combos!

      Hey Molly!

Thank you! šŸ™‚ I knew I had to do some type of nail art with the Liquid Sands. They’re fun to wear!

Yes, Honey Ryder can be paired with dark shades or bright shades – very versatile.

I got my first liquid sand! And it’s all your fault! <3 I was so taken with your swatch of What Wizardry Is This that I went out and bought it, along with Sprung. I'm getting into a bad habit where I buy things you rate 10/10 XD

P.S. I went back and looked at the entries for those polishes, and I realize you asked me how much a harp costs, and I never answered! Honestly, that vastly varies depending on the size and quality of the harp. Assuming you want me to rule out anything below "decent", it can vary from $400 (your basic, no lever harpsicle, 3.5 octaves) to over $35,000 for a top of the line concert grand floor harp (same rage as a piano, with levers and all the bells and whistles). And it can be much more than that, if you're looking at custom made/custom carved/rare types of harps. And that's without even getting into double-strung or triple-strung! Needless to say, the world of harps is a complicated one šŸ˜€

My own harp cost $1,000- I got it secondhand, it has levers on four notes (meaning I can change the pitch of four notes for each octave), and it has a four octave range. Perhaps one day in the distant future I'll also get a floor harp, but I'm very happy with mine! A lot of people sell their first smaller harp to help fund a bigger one, but I could never do that, I'm far too attached!

      Hey Fedoraharp!

Hehe, I’m more than happy to take full responsibility for that. It’s flattering! šŸ™‚ Haha, but I’ll admit to feeling slightly guilty for convincing anyone to spend money. Buttttt, I’m glad that you went with the ones I gave a perfect score. Hope you agree that they’re amazing polishes!

      Wow, $400 to $35,000 – that’s quite a range!

That’s amazing how you have your own harp – must sound like you’re in heaven when you’re playing. Very unique! I love the sound of harps, and it’s an instrument that not many people play, which only makes it cooler, in my opinion.
