Since I first laid eyes on OPI Polka.com in the OPI Euro Centrale Collection press release, I knew that it had to be mine!
A glitter polish like this is really fun to layer with, and because there’s a transparent base, it means you can put it over virtually anything.
I was already wearing Essie Mint Candy Apple, so I decided to try it over that.
Unfortunately, my photos don’t show how sparklicious this manicure is. The vibrancy of the glitter also didn’t seem to translate in my photos. But, if you have these two polishes, trust me, the combination is like a glittery Easter egg! You’ll love it way more in person!

OPI Polka.com Review
Colour
Because of the reflection on the pieces of glitter, it may look like there are tons of colours in my photos. In actuality, there are 3 different colours – fuchsia, blue, and purple, from what I could tell.
The hexagonal glitter come in all 3 shades, but the smaller glitter seemed to only be pink and purple.
Together, the different-sized glitter and the different colours really look like a party. I loved how they created a glittery Easter-egg effect. (If you went gaga over the Illamasqua speckled nail polishes, but wanted something less expensive to tide you over, this OPI polish could do the trick!)
Finish
Despite having so much glitter, it wasn’t gritty like I thought it was going to be. And, when I put a top coat over it, it was so smooth!
Application & Formula
OPI Polka.com was very easy to apply. It wasn’t goopy, and I found it simple to control. Sometimes, however, the glitter would tend to clump in one spot, but if you use the brush to move it around a bit, you can easily get it to disperse evenly with minimal effort.
As with many glitter polishes, I found that Polka.com dried quite quickly. It’s great for if you’re in a pinch.

Final Verdict: 10/10
I really love OPI Polka.com. In fact, I wore this manicure for several days – didn’t want to remove it! Eventually, I had to…haha, or else I wouldn’t have any new content for the blog! 😉
When you first heard about this polish, did you Google Polka.com? What colour would you layer under Polka.com? Do you have a favourite glitter polish?
Thanks for the swatches. I purchased this recently but didn’t know what I wanted to layer it with. Looks great over the minty green!
Hey Alice!
You’re welcome! 🙂 I loved wearing this manicure – had it on for several days straight!
I think it would also look really cute and candy-like over a pastel pink or yellow.
*teehee* Transparent bases get me all giddy. 😀 Greaty layering combo!

Hey Lizzy!
Definitely they’re the most versatile! 🙂 Then you can go cray cray with layering combinations! (I know I’ll be wearing this one again, but maybe over a pastel yellow.)
I love glitter polishes, so this polish definitely got my attention. It’s the only polish from the Euro collection that seems really different from anything else out there. That said, I won’t be purchasing it anytime soon. OPI has raised their prices and done some other things that make me less inclined to purchase their products.

Hey another Cristina!
Yes, I agree with you – this glitter is pretty different than the other typical ‘rainbow’ glitters. I really like the pink, purple, and fuchsia colour combination. To me, it’s idea for that Easter-egg look if you layer it over any pastel.
Perhaps another brand will come out with a dupe, and then you’ll get your hands on this awesome glitter combination. (Sorry to hear that OPI has turned you off.)
