Nail Art: Super Bowl Baltimore Ravens Nails

Super Bowl Nails Nail Art Baltimore Ravens Will you be watching the Super Bowl on Sunday?

Despite not following football or being a huge fan of it, I’ll still catch the Super Bowl. Why? It’s such a glorified sports moment, and there’s an undeniable excitement surrounding it.

Are you rooting for the Baltimore Ravens or the San Francisco 49ers?

I’ll be happy for whichever team wins since I’m not enough of a fan of either to lean one way or the other.

However, I thought it would be fun to whip up a simple skittle manicure for some Super Bowl Baltimore Ravens Nails! The Baltimore Ravens’ team colours are right up my alley.

In this look, I used Deborah Lippmann Fade to Black, Topshop Glimmer (gold), and Topshop Late Show (purple).

If you want to create Baltimore Ravens nail art with a twist, you may want to add white to the mix in the form of dots. I think that would be a fun addition to this plain manicure.

Edit: For the San Francisco 49ers fans out there, I did a nail-art look with their team colours, too. Click here to see my San Francisco 49ers nail art.

Super Bowl Baltimore Ravens Nail Art Swatches

All swatches have:

  • Essie First Base (Base Coat)
  • Black: Deborah Lippmann Fade to Black (2 coats. Provided by PR.)
  • Gold: Topshop Glimmer (2 coats. Provided by PR.)
  • Purple: Topshop Late Show (2 coats. Provided by PR.)
  • Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

Note: My bottle of Seche Vite somehow got ‘contaminated’ with micro-glitter. So, if you see micro-glitter on the black or purple, please note that in the original polishes, they’re not there. Both of those lacquers have creme finishes. (I ended up buying a new bottle of Seche Vite so this issue won’t affect my future reviews and photos.)

You know what my favourite part about the Super Bowl is? Making and eating a 5-or-6-layer dip! *Oink Oink*

Let’s have a moment of silence right now for all the innocent avocados that will be devoured on Sunday. 😉 It’ll be an avocado massacre!

Will you be watching the Super Bowl? Are you looking forward to Beyonce’s half-time performance? Do you prefer the Ravens or the 49ers? Will you be painting your nails with your favourite team’s colours?

      Hey MightyLambchop!

Hehehe, your name is so cute and cracks me up! 😀

No worries – Psst! I’ll be sharing a San Francisco 49ers maniciure on here really soon. You may like it. It’s also really simple and easy to replicate.

Glad that you could overlook the Ravens and appreciate it just as a skittle manicure! 🙂 I really like the Ravens’ team colours, and haha, I’m not really into football, so I can’t say whether I like the Ravens more than the 49ers.

Yum Yum! I love 7 layer dip too. I know it’s a Superbowl staple here in Texas, but really didn’t expect it to be a favorite there in Canada. The Ravens are my favorite team so I am really loving this mani. I never thought to do just a skittles mani instead of trying to do something artsy like a design. Your mani is soo much easier and just as cute.

      Hey Cindi!

Haha, I thought that yummy homemade chip dips are a staple for good eatin’ anywhere! 😉 I plan to really pack it down.

I’ll be showing San Francisco 49ers nails soon on here, haha, so maybe you won’t like it, but you’ll just appreciate it simply as a basic maniciure. 😉

I really liked the micro glitter mistake!! It is a good one!!
Please upload some pictures of that awesome dip.
As for me, I don’t follow Super Bowl (or any sports at all) but I am really looking forward to all the commercials since I’m studying Marketing.

      Hey Angelina!

Hahaha, glad my bottle of ‘contaminated’ Seche Vite didn’t bother you. When I put it on top of the purple and black, I was like, “Darn! People are going to think there’s micro-glitter when there’s none!” I really like to show polish accurately, so it bummed me out a bit. But, thank you for liking it still! 🙂

I’ll try to remember to post a photo of the chip dip on Instagram, but no promises! Unfortunately, a lot of times when I eat yummy things, I often forget to photograph it and only remember when it’s all in my tummy. 😉 Too bad the iPhone doesn’t have an x-ray photo app. Haha!

YES, I’ll also be watching the commercials – they’re always really interesting, and man do companies ever drop insane amounts of money for a commercial spot during the Super Bowl!

      Hey Lizzy!

Hahahahah, I love how you say you “had” to watch it! I know what you mean about football not being the most exciting sport. I don’t even know all the rules, but I’m going to try to pay more attention this year. Maybe I’ll learn something. And, if anything, at least I can have a good ole laugh about the uniforms. I’ve always thought it was funny how the ‘tights’ show off their tushies. (Yes, I’m terribly mature…)

Not a Ravens fan but I do love these colors together! Probably would just wear the gold and purple together. Looks nice. Hopefully next year for the Superbowl your nails will be black and gold!

      Hey Diana!

I bet that you were really disappointed then that the Ravens won the Super Bowl.

Yeah, who knows? Maybe next year it’ll be black and gold! 😉
