China Glaze Man Hunt Review
Colour
Man Hunt by China Glaze is a saturated blue that’s strong and dramatic. At first, it reminded me of Essie Mesmerize, but when I looked at them together, I realized that Man Hunt is darker and more navy blue than Mesmerize.
While I enjoyed wearing this colour by itself (it looks so slick!), I think this would be great for a base colour for nail art!
Despite this blue being dark, it never quite looked black to me, even in dim lighting. That’s a huge plus for me because near-black shades frustrate me (as you may have heard me complain about before! If I wanted to wear black, I would!).
Finish
Man Hunt is a creme polish, but it gives off that shiny look, so maybe there’s a touch of jelliness to it. (You won’t get any visible nail line with this like you would with a jelly polish.)
Application & Formula
The formula was great – not too thin and not too thick. I found it very easy to control, and the pigmentation was wonderful. You get a lot of coverage at one coat, and then you just need a second to even everything out. You shouldn’t need to use a third coat.

This kind of dark blue is really sexy to me. The formula is good, so even if you’re not the best at applying nail polish, your results will still be impressive! 🙂
Sure, this blue isn’t the most unique blue out there, but if you don’t have any blues like this, I recommend getting this one.

This is a really nice shade of blue. I agree that it’s not very unique, but I could never get enough blue polish. I do prefer lighter blues though.

I really like it (how could I not?? Its blue!!) but it seems like I’ve seen this in other collections already. I wonder if there is a dupe out there for it? My most sexy type of polish is darkened red with shimmer. And it always cheers me up too!!

Yes, there’s probably a dupe out there because it’s a blue creme. If I rummaged through my stash, I could probably find one. Even Essie Mesmerize is fairly close.
Great photos! I really did not need another blue cream in this color hue – but I put this shade into my order when I sent for a couple shades out of this collection. I do love this blue. It’s not got the same formula as the red in this collection has. Wish it did as the red is an amazing cream that is opaque in 1 coat and totally leveled. My fav blue polishes tend to be just this shade or a tish brighter like a bright royal blue. I cannot wear powder blues at all – they give me lobster hands.

Oh, I’m going to try the red out soon! 🙂 A one-coater is golden! Yeah, I also get major lobster hands with powder blues. I need them to be more noticeably blue (even pastel) and not as close to white.

I prefer blues of any kind. 😉 But if we’re talking sexy, I tend to reach for vampy red shimmers. Like China Glaze Branding Iron. That’s one seeeeeksiiii nail polish!
