China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitters Collection Press Release & Promo Pictures smallerI know that a lot of you have been really excited about the upcoming China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitters Collection! (Some of you may have even seen the swatches floating around.)

But for those of you who are just catching wind of it, here is the press release and promotional pictures sent to me by PR.

I haven’t seen any of these in person yet, but based solely on the pictures, I’m most interested in Liquid Crystal (Sounds like a drug, doesn’t it?) and Optical Illusion (It’s a green. Enough said…hehe!).

What about you? Which ones are you looking forward to? Or if you already managed to track them down before the release date, which are your favourites?

All the colours in the China Glaze Prismatic Chroma Glitters Collection:

      Hey Heather!

Okay, good! I’m really glad that you heard about it here first. Sometimes I’m concerned about people getting tired of seeing press releases everywhere. But I post them soon after I receive them from PR just in case there are people who haven’t heard about it and may be interested. 🙂

They’ll probably revoke my Polish Addict card for this, but I’m not too whooped up on this collection based on the swatches and promo pics.

Some of them are pretty enough and they might be better in person, but they just aren’t dialing my number yet.

      Hey karen!

Oh no? Can the Powers That Be do that? *Gulp* I’d better watch what I ‘swatch’. Haha! 😉

I have a feeling that these polishes may look better in person because they’re probably hard to capture with a camera. Some shades are really deceptive like that. Hope I can find some to try out. 🙂 I probably won’t buy them all, but I’d like at least one.

Hehe, I like how you said that they aren’t dialing your number. I’m picturing so many cute polishes calling you up for a nail booty call now. 😉 Speed dial?

      Hey MariJo!

A lot of people were pumped up for this collection before too much information was released, but I’ve also noticed that the response seems to be divided a lot right down the middle. Some people love it, and others are just meh about it.

At least you can save your money for future polishes! 🙂 That’s always good.

As for myself, I’m going to probably buy one – maybe the green one. 😉

Oh, I loved seeing light through crystal prisms as a kid, my Nana sold lots of them in her gift store. Hmm…I think…I’d be interested in Prism, Liquid Crystal and Optical Illusion. But, I look forward to hear what you have to say once you get your nails under ’em. 🙂

      Hey Kim!

If I end up picking up any of these, I’ll definitely review and share photos of my manicure. 🙂 We’ll see! Hope they look even better in person!

I like Liquid Crystal (totally sounds like a drug! haha) and Prism… I’ll probably track those two down. I may get Optical Illusion too, depending on how much you love it. I have quite a few greens already lol.

      Hey Kelly!

Okay, good, so I wasn’t the only person who thought that Liquid Crystal sounded sketchy! 😛

Hopefully I can track down the green one. We’ll see. Lately I’ve been trying to save my money for the hopefully-soon-to-be-re-released MAC Candy Yum-Yum Lipstick. It’s this crazy neon pink that I missed out on when it first came out. Now you can vote to bring it back, so I’ve been voting. 🙂

This is seriously strange, I thought I’d be blown off my seat by these, being a glitter-holo-prismatic maniac but oddly I wasn’t all that jazzed when I first saw the press release. It’s weird. Maybe I was hoping they’d be stronger, bolder colors. Who knows.

Hehe, Scrangie is my favourite beauty blogger. Her swatches and reviews always blow my mind! 😀 Plus she’s one of the nicest bloggers out there. I’ll never stop singing her praises because she deserves it.

You’re not alone. I’ve noticed that a lot of people have been disappointed. But, hopefully they look even better in person! *Fingers crossed* I’m going to try to track at least one down.

I have Polarized and Full Spectrum. They were the only ones the store had. I also want to get Prism and Liquid Crystal. I wish they were holographic. Full Spectrum and some of the others are duochrome according to some of the blogs I’ve seen swatches from. They said that Full Spectrum shifts from a pink to a purple base. I wish I had more time to comment on your posts because ever since March Break started, I’ve barely stayed home. My parents keep bringing me to different places or I go over to my family and friend’s houses. I barely get any sleep.

      Hey maddy!

It’s good that you’re keeping really busy. And HAPPY MARCH BREAK, by the way! 🙂 Judging from the fact that you’re hardly home, that’s good news. It means you’re getting out there and having a blast! You’ve gotta tell me later all the fun things you’ve been up to…hehe, and I’m sure it’s worth the sleep deprivation. 😉

Thanks for taking the time to stop by even though your schedule is jam-packed. I really do appreciate it! 🙂

      Hey Margo!

Hahaha, yeah, you almost have the entire collection! WOW!

Now, I know you said that you love several, but do you have a clear-cut favourite – one that trumps the rest? Or do you love them all like children? 😉

      Hey Maria Saldana!

I understand how you feel. Sometimes it feels like you’re rubbing your poor fingers raw. The foil method really works for those stubborn glitters!

Oh, I didn’t see Switched At Birth, but wish I had since you said it was such a great episode.

If Karen is worried about her blogger card, I may have to go into hiding because…..*whispers* I’m not that into holos. (Ducks from all the polish lovers throwing stuff at me.) Even though I love glitter and jellies, none of the swatches I’ve seen online has impressed me that much. It’s all probably because of my terrible secret, though maybe seeing them in person will change my mind. (Running away now to dye my hair, change my name, and get plastic surgery to avoid the wrath of the Powers That Be.)

      Hey another Cristina!

Oh my! *GASP* Not. That. Into. Holos. I can’t even comprehend that sentence, so I had to say each word like staccatos. 😉 Hehehe!

You should really give OPI DS Extravagance a chance to wow you. That’s a holo that looks so much more impressive in person than any photo can do justice. It’s brilliance in a bottle, I promise! (And the formula is perfection.)

      Hey Carmela!

Nope, not a sacrilege. It just means you have more polish money for other collections. 😉 Gotta think about that China-Glaze-Millennium silver lining, right?

You should head over to Scrangie and check out her swatches of the Wet n Wild ones over black. Instant galaxy nails! Her swatches made me see the colours in a whole new light.
