I’ve finally joined a cult – Cult Nails, that is! 😉
For what seemed like forever, I’ve been hearing a lot of buzz about this brand. And, so many bloggers have enticed me with their beautiful swatch photos.
There were so many colours on my To-Buy List. Then I found out about a pre-sale of Cult Nails Unicorn Puke, which is an insanely unique multi-coloured flakie polish with cool gold-lettered packaging. There were only 275 limited-edition bottles of it made.
So I bit the bullet, bought Cult Nails Unicorn Puke and a back-up…as well as all the other colours I had wanted before. Yes, I was very, very bad. My wallet won’t stop telling me this.
If you missed out on ordering Unicorn Puke, don’t worry! Cult Nails will be bringing it back (in the regular packaging, though) in their Super Powers Collection. It’ll be renamed Clairvoyant.
I’m already planning on doing separate layering experiments with Unicorn Puke and Hypnotize Me, so please stay tuned for them.
I may wear the rest solo. If I do, I’ll be sure to provide detailed swatch photos and in-depth reviews as usual.

I’ll be trying out Unicorn Puke first. How could I resist a flakie polish? It’s impossible. 😉
Which is your favourite out of the bunch? Have you joined ‘the cult’? Did you also order a bottle of the limited-edition Unicorn Puke, or will you wait for it to be re-released as Clairvoyant?
I love all tehese colors!! Unicorn Puke is my favorite because nail polish with big glitter is usually my favorite. I also like Hypnotise me because it’s like an amazing turquoise shimmer that is a must have for me! I need to join the cult!

It’s definitely my favourite one, too! It’d be nice to see large flakie polishes more often (but not to the point where the market is too saturated like with crackle polishes).

Yes. *Hangs head in shame* I do. 😉 But after my most recently nail-polish haul, I’m trying to be more frugal for a little while. (I’m not calling it a No Buy, though, because whenever I go on one, I always cave. It’s kind of like when someone needs to shut the water off to work on the pipes. You didn’t need any water, but once the person says it’ll be shut off for an hour or two, that’s when you feel the need for water. :P)
I’m wearing Unicorn Puke right now in a little layering attempt. I’ll have the post up this Friday. 🙂
I just died. I wish I thought to jump on the chance too! I was hemming and hawing about it but it was too late by the time I decided to just go with it. 🙁 Oh, well. It must not have been meant to be. 😛
Awesome haul, Mary! 😀 I think I’ll wait till Clairvoyant is out before I’ll order anything and subsequently join the cult. Also, do my eyes deceive me or is Iconic also a flakie?? I’m already trying to figure out what I’ll get. Awakening is definitely on the list, too. 😀

Yeah, I was shocked at how fast Unicorn Pee sold out. When I got my order in, I think I read a tweet about how there were just 25 or something bottles left! So I made like Inspector Gadget and said, “Go, go, gadget fingers…and place that nail-polish order!” 😉
It’s okay that you didn’t get Unicorn Pee. At least it wasn’t discontinued and you can get the same colour, but just a different bottle.
Yes, Iconic is also a flakie! I probably wouldn’t have bought a red nail polish if it weren’t. This seems like something I don’t have in my collection. Can’t wait to wear that one, either. Haha, I feel like wearing a skittle manicure just so I can wear them all at the same time because I’m impatient!
Unicorn Puke is a really pretty color! Clever name too.

Lol, I just LOVE hauls! I don’t buy a lot of makeup/nail polish, so when I actually give in and spend a big amount of money, it makes me so HAPPY, happy, happy x 3 million. 🙂 I’ve never heard of this brand of nail polish before though. D: Can’t wait to see the swatch! The colors look great!

I love seeing other people’s hauls, too. It doesn’t make me jealous. It often helps me see the actual product up close and helps me better decide if I should get it or not. Plus as long as they don’t do ONLY hauls, then I think it’s fun because usually people are so excited and happy, especially in the YouTube videos.

I am a Cultie and proud of it. I have already bought myself the life-long membership… because aside from the pretty colours I really am a fan of the formula and the people behind this flourishing company.
My favourites, to date, continue to be Cruisin Nude and Enigmatic (I think you’ll love Enigmatic too if you liked the Paradoxal dupes… 😉 )
Although I will say that Hypnotize me and Unicorn Puke are incredible for sponging and layering!

Yes, even the way they were packaged speaks volumes about the care that was put into them. I like special little touches that remind me that a HUMAN is behind it and not some faceless big company. 🙂
I’ve never heard of this brand Cult Nails. So far, the colors are to my liking. I wonder about the consistency though. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve heard great things about this brand’s formula. So far the only colour I’ve tried is Unicorn Puke as a layering polish, and it was nice and smooth – very easy to work with. When I wear the other colours, I’ll be sure to go into the details. 🙂
I’m a member of the cult too. If I can stop staring at my Unicorn Puke and swatch it….lol. I have many of the Cult polishes and they are a dream to apply and gotta love those colors!!

Another Cult member here. I own every color, but I missed out on Unicorn Puke! I was soooo disappointed! But I’ve already pre-ordered the Superpowers collection, so I’ll just have to make due with Clairvoyant. I guess I can just peel the nametag off and call it Unicorn Puke. 🙂

Yep! I even got Crusin’ Nude, although I hate nude polishes. Well, I hated nude polishes until I got Crusin’ Nude, that is. The pink shimmer in it is to die for. And the formula is just the best. That Maria is a nail polish savant. One day, when she’s up there with Suzy and Essie, I will be able to say I had all her polishes from the start!

Yeah, I hope that Maria’s Cult Nails becomes even more popular. Although I do like the big brands, sometimes you need smaller brands to push the envelope of creativity and show others that there are other ideas hatching. 🙂

aaaagghh! I only WISH I’d been quick enough to get one bottle of UP, but I did preorder Superpowers. There were a lot of pretty colors on the site and I had to remind myself Christmas is coming and if I spent more than $35 on polish my husband would probably kill me! Haha. Seriously tho I can’t wait to get it and I’m anxious to see your swatches tomorrow. I want all the Cult colors! They seem so awesome (especially that nude with pink shimmer) and I love that it’s so human and personal. And I so agree with you, once the market is saturated, I don’t even wanna wear it anymore, no matter how awesome. And that’s sad cuz I kinda loved my shatters. :-/ I guess that’s the perils of trying to be a trend setter not a follower (for the most part). 😉
