Just found out recently that there’s a new Nicole by OPI Holiday Glitters Collection coming out in November.
It consists of 4 glitter polishes: purple, blue, red, and gold. And they are limited-edition colours.
I didn’t receive a display picture for this collection, so I just quickly whipped one up myself to dress up this post’s intro.
If you’re interested in reading the official press release and the description of each colour, as well as seeing the bottle pictures, I’ve included them, too.
Are there any that are calling your name?
Here is the official Nicole by OPI press release:
Nicole by OPI Launches Holiday Glitters, Introducing New Sparkly Lacquers for the Season
Nicole by OPI announces new, limited edition Holiday Glitters! Featuring four shades packed with intense shimmer for the festive season, these lacquers transform fingers and toes into virtual jewelry. From traditional holly red and a warm fuchsia hue to metallic gold and inky blue, these shades make the perfect gift or stocking stuffer for any woman (or to keep for yourself!).
“The holiday season’s celebratory feeling lends itself to added glitz and glamour in fashion, jewelry, accessories, and most importantly – for nails!” explains Suzi WeissFischmann, Nicole by OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “The four alluring Holiday Glitters shades offer a great way to add lots of color. Red and gold glitter tones offer a more classic holiday look, while magenta and sapphire blue incorporate rich, weighty jewel tones – which is another important trend for the season.”
The new Holiday Glitters nail lacquers from Nicole by OPI include:
Glitter In My Stocking
Give the gift of gold-glittery goodness!
My Sleigh’s in the Shop

My Thoughts:
As usual, I find that polishes often look better in person than in their promotional pictures. I’ll need to see these in person before I can better decide which ones I’d like to buy.
Out of all the colours, I’m most interested in seeing Snow-man of My Dreams. It’s described as ‘inky’, but the picture looks like a sky blue. Plus I wonder if it’ll really have a lot of rainbow glitter it. If so, that could be really special polish to have in my collection.
Based on these pictures, looks like the gold and the red will be nice, but standard holiday fare. If you’re looking for a festive staple, these types of colours usually fit the bill quite nicely.
I like purple polish and this one looks more like grape, but it’s described as a magenta. I’m curious to see how this one will look in person.
So what do you think of this small holiday collection from Nicole by OPI? Will you be hunting any of these down? Or have you written them off?
You’re right. Promo pics can sometimes be misleading or not really give justice to the actual polishes. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed with all these glitters coming out that I don’t know if I want any more. *gasp* Outrageous! If I really had to pick, Snow-man of my Dreams maybe. For as long as it looks nothing like Me+Blue. 😀

Hey Carmela!
Yeah, they’re really pumping out a lot of glitter polishes, but that’s understandable since the Christmas season is usually when more people want blinged-out fingernails. 🙂
ThePolishaholic swatched these a few days ago and the colors look NOTHING like the bottle pictures. They are tons more glittery than the bottles show. Glitter in my stocking has a good amount of red glitter mixed with the gold and the promo pics don’t show that at all. My Sleigh’s in the Shop is definitely a pink/magenta color. How the heck did they get purple??? I swear, the person incharge of these promos is color blind.
Hey Vivian!
Oh! Thanks for letting me know. I’m going to check out her swatches. 😀
