The Quo Angle Contour Brush is the first brush I ever bought. It took my brush virginity! But this is not something I’ll remember for the rest of my life. Quo does make quality brushes, but I don’t like this one at all.

And I’ll tell you right off the bat why: the bristles are scratchy. But that’s not the only reason why I say no to this Quo contour brush. What else?

The Review

Sorry to our American friends, but the Quo Angled Contour Brush is only available in Canada. But from my experience, I give this product a pass anyway. Other than scratchy bristles, why?

It sheds. It doesn’t come off in clumps, but every time I use the brush, at least 3 hairs come out. And they’d get stuck on my face…

Another reason I don’t like the Quo angle brush is because I think the brush head is an odd size. I find it’s too big to be an eye contour brush. You just can’t get the right amount of color where you want. It doesn’t give you a lot of precision, making contouring the eye so much harder…and brushes are supposed to make it easier!

So what do I like about this Quo brush? I like that it comes with its own brush protector. It has a Ziploc-type closing at the top, so if you’re traveling with this, it won’t fall out of your purse. And on the protector as well as the brush handle, it has the name clearly printed, instead of just a brush number. This is good for beginners who may not be familiar with all the different types of brushes yet.

Another good thing about these Quo brushes is how they look. They don’t have that professional feel to them, but they still look sleek and chic with their silver and frosted finish.

Final Verdict: 3.5/10

I definitely think this brush is a pass, but I don’t think Quo is all bad. I also got the Quo Liner/Brow Brush, which I actually like. I just think the contour brush should go back to the drawing boards.
