The easiest way to do nail art is with nail-stamping image plates. It may take a little bit of practice to get the hang of it, but once you have the basics down, you’re golden!
Several months ago, Matty ordered me the 25-Piece Bundle Monster Image Plate Set from the official website as a gift. 🙂 (Thanks, Matty!) Even though this is just one set, since there are so many image plates, I’m considering this haul-worthy!
At just $21.99 USD, it was a stellar deal especially since Konad image plates are around $6-7 USD each.
I love my Konad nail-stamping plates, but you really can’t beat Bundle Monster for the overall value!
If you’ve followed Swatch And Learn for a while, you’ll see that I’ve done a few designs already using some of these images. Plenty more to come! 🙂
In this post, I’ll present photos of each image plate so you can see all the designs, and I’ll show you how the film peels off and what the backing looks like. I’ll also give you a quickie review based on the images I have tried using so far.

Quickie 25-Piece Bundle Monster Image Plate Set Review
Image Quality
I haven’t tried all of the plates, but from the ones I have tried, the images were engraved deeply enough so it was easy to transfer the images using the stamper onto my nail.
All the images aren’t perfect, though. For instance, on plate BM 220, if you look at the star French-tip design, you’ll notice that the pattern is cut off a bit. Since this didn’t happen to many of the designs, it doesn’t bother me, but it might bug you.
Are the Discs Sharp?
No. They’re made out of metal, but this set has paper backing, so it makes the discs not sharp. You won’t have to worry about accidentally cutting yourself with these.
Blue Film Covering the Image Plate
When you receive these in the mail, they’ll have a thin blue film covering each of the image plates. You’ll need to peel these off prior to using them or they won’t stamp correctly. (But make sure that whatever you do, leave the paper backing on. Only remove the blue film.)
Shipping
Bundle Monster made sure the image plates would arrive undamaged. They mailed the image plates in an envelope. The set of image plates were wrapped in bubble wrap.
None of my plates were damaged, but if yours are, I hear that they have excellent customer service and may replace any defective ones.
Also, go through the plates and make sure that none are missing. I’ve heard about how some people were missing a plate. Again, if you tell their customer service, they’ll send the missing one over. (All of mine arrived just fine.)
Edit: I should’ve included this in my initial mini review. Oops.
New 25-Piece Set vs. Old 21-Piece Set
Full-Nail Designs
While the images on both sets allow for loads of creativity, keep in mind that the 25-piece set has larger full-nail designs unlike the 21-piece set, which had smaller and narrower full-nail designs. A lot of women complained about the older set because those full-nail patterns were so small, it was nearly impossible to get them to cover the entire nail.
Paper Backing
The older set didn’t originally have the paper backing that the new set does, but I’ve heard that Bundle Monster is now adding them to new orders of the old set.
This makes a huge difference. Without the paper baking, the discs have very sharp edges. Plus with the backing, the new plates just feel better in your hands – they’re more on par with Konad image plates.
Edit: I’m including these links to help those who want to see the images on my nails.
The Nail Art I Have Done Using Some of These Image Plates
While I have test-stamped a whole bunch of the images on these plates, below are the manicures I’ve done so far and showcased on Swatch And Learn.
I used the circle pattern on the BM-206 plate:
I’ve tried the crackle images on the BM-208 plate:
Also, tried the BM-222 plate (cow print):

Final Verdict: 9.5/10
I’m excited to try all of the designs. I’ve had fun using these plates so far, and if Bundle Monster comes out with more sets, I’ll definitely consider purchasing them.
Do you already have this Bundle Monster image-plate set? Do you like Konad more than these? What’s the last nail-stamping design you used?
I love those designs! Been trying to get my hands on those for a while… Hope they ship to Europe as well! Honestly I like most of their designs even better than the Konad ones! But I am missing the plate with the cupcake in this bundle 😉 Please let us know when you’ve tried them!

Hey Sabine!
Oh, I’ve already tried some of these designs. Had these image plates almost since they first came out, but I’m only posting it on the blog now because I thought others (who haven’t bought them) would find the images useful for reference.
Below are some links to the ones I’ve done actual manicures with. But I have test-stamped a lot of the images – just didn’t wear them yet.
I’ve tried the crackle images on the BM-208 plate:

I’m going to update this post to include these links in case others want to see the plates in action, too. 🙂
Hope that helps!
I already have the original Bundle Monster set, plus the M.A.S.H. set, and I can’t wait to order this BM set, too! : )
Hey Aren!
I like the original Bundle Monster, too. But This new set has so many great holiday images, plus the paper backing just makes them easier to work with. (Hehe, with the original set, I’m always worried that I’m going to cut myself because the edges are so sharp! Glad that they listened to what their customers wanted and improved this set! :D)
If you get them, let me know how you like them, and please share any manicures you do with them. I would love to see! 🙂
I am so glad you got this set and I can’t wait to see more of your designs with them 😉 again I’m impressed with how well you photographed the plates (without getting the glare and reflection)! There has been slow “rumor” that Bundle Monster may be making more plates (due to overwhelmib demand of followers)… I’ll be right on board because I really enjoy the quality of their plates 🙂

Hey Marta!
Haha, it was really hard to get as little glare on these plates. I literally was moving them all around my living-room floor trying to find the sweet spot. And sometimes when there was no glare, yup, look who’d be featured in the image plate? ME! Hahaha…didn’t want that, either.
Ohhh…yes, I’ve also heard that “rumour”. Once on Twitter, they asked what we’d like to see more of. Of course I replied image plates! 😀 We can never get enough!
Konad plates are amazing, but when it comes down to it, Bundle Monster has really upped their game – you really can’t beat the value of getting so many plates for so little! I’m so glad people have this alternative.
It’s been a while since I did any stamping. I really need to get on it. (I love your designs. Your stamping is always so creative!)
You’ve read my mind! I was just looking at this set over at amazon.com and now you’re posting about it. 😀
I already have 8 Konad plates (that combined cost more than your 25!) but none of them have the full nail patterns and I’ve been dying to try those. How much was shipping? How long did your order take to get to you? Did you have to pay any import taxes? Do they use Canada Post, FedEx, UPS..?
Very excited to see more of your nail art! 🙂
PS. I was trying to comment on your post yesterday and for some reason it refused to show up no matter how many times I tried/refreshed the browser. I thought it was very weird and that you might know, fyi. 🙂
That is very strange! I looked in my spam section, too, just to see if by some fluke it landed in there, but it didn’t. 😐 Maybe there was a server issue. Thanks for telling me about it because I wouldn’t have even know anything about it if you hadn’t!
Which post were you trying to comment on? Could you try again and if it doesn’t work, please let me know. I may need to do some technical troubleshooting.
It was the one from yesterday, your press release post on the OPI Muppets collection. I just tried again and it still doesn’t show up. I mean, I write out the comment and press “submit comment” but after the page reloads the comment doesn’t show. Thought you should know just in case I wasn’t the only one getting the bug and you might be missing other comments. This is actually the 2nd time it happened to me but the first time it did, it eventually worked.
Okay, thanks for trying. I just saw that your comment was filed into spam just this morning (which is bizarre since you comment regularly!). It should be showing up now.
Hey Carmela!
Yeah – those Konad plates can really add up! I’ve ordered so many from WowSoCool.com and OCNailArt.com! (Their prices and shipping to Canada…and the US are wonderful!)
Oh, you should really try the full-nail patterns. In my experience, they’re actually so much easier (at least to me) to stamp with because you don’t usually have to worry much about image placement. You just need to make sure it’s straight and then it’s time to get rollin’…This is how us nail gangstas roll. 😉
Matty bought these for me as a gift. He forwarded me the invoice, though, so I just checked now. It cost $4 USD to ship to Canada. And when I received it in the mail, I didn’t have to pay any import taxes. Hmm…since I got it a long time ago, I can’t remember exactly which carrier they used. I think it was Canada Post. Sorry, I can’t be more helpful. I do remember, though, that it came in a white, plastic envelope (no padding). And I know for sure that it wasn’t FedEx.
🙂 I have some more nail-art posts scheduled in the upcoming days. None of them involve stamps, though. I’m going to bust out my plates soon. It’s been a long time.
Ugh, getting those stamps to go on straight on my non-dominant finger is a huge PITA. 😛 I always end up with asymmetrical stamps so I just go with it.
Wow, $4 shipping? That’s making my heart race. Oh Mary, I think you’ve just enabled me again! Thanks for answering tho. I’m thinking it must’ve been Canada Post then. They’re usually the default anyway from USPS. I think I’m going to go look again. I was also looking at the $17.99 set for maybe 4 plates less but no tip designs..
I know what you mean! Once I was doing a nautical design with anchors. It was my first time using thin, detailed images that needed to be placed perfectly. Haha, I ended up scrapping the entire manicure because all the anchors were oddly crooked (and not in a cute way).
Oh…should I feel guilty for enabling you again? Haha! 😛
The 21-piece set (for $17.99) is good, but they don’t have the backing, so the edges are sharp…if that matters to you. Also, the full-nail designs on the 21-piece set are much smaller/narrower. If you’re mainly interested in those, I recommend the new 25-piece set instead because they made the full-nail designs wider (like Konad) so the entire image will fit on your nail. (I’d better add that piece of info to my post in case other people are curious.)
I love these plates. They aren’t perfect, but for the price paid, they are totally worth it. I grabbed both sets in the same month. I’m still having to work on double stamping with the first set. I am glad that they did put paper backing on these, and they are now putting paper backing on the first set, or at least they did with the ones I received. I hope you’re having a great Friday!

Hey Leah!
Wow, both sets in the same month? That must’ve felt good! 😀
Oh, I had no idea that the old sets now have the paper backing. Thanks for letting me and my readers know! I’m going to update my post to reflect this new important piece of information.
My Friday’s going pretty well, thanks! Hope you have lots of fun at the wedding today! 😀
Wow! Thanks for this post and also your last comment with additional links. They’re very detailed and very helpful, especially for a beginner like myself. Yes, I’d definitely would like to see how the plates are used.

Wow, thanks for stopping by my blog to personally leave a comment! 😀 And thanks for letting my readers know about your Facebook sweepstakes. I’m sure they’re going to love it! Sadly, I don’t use Facebook really…but that’s okay. More chances for other people! 🙂
Thanks so much for the pictures! I was actually looking to get these plates soon. I’m intimidated of stamping but I can’t wait until I get into it. The price is great on these.

Hey Katie!
You’re very welcome. I was hoping that someone would find it helpful to see all the images in this amazing set. 🙂
Hehe, be careful! Once you start stamping, it’s hard to stop…(not that you’ll want to stop)! 😉
Just wanted to drop by to say thanks for a positive review on our product! We are always happy to hear feedback from our users and customers. Look forward to seeing your future posts on the designs from this set!
Hey again, Bundle Monster!
You’re very welcome. 🙂
Bought both sets, its missing BM12. I emailed the company and hope to hear back from them soon to resolve the this issue.
Hey Elisa!
Sorry to hear that you were missing a plate. I’ve heard about how some other people have also had the same issue, and the company sent it over to them quickly. I also hope that they’ll resolve it for you!
Hi Mary,
Do they sell the large image plate with lots of engraved images? How much does it cost?
I think it’s more practical instead of having 25 image plates.
Hey Nathalie!
As far as I know, they don’t have a large image plate. But they’re always adding something to their selection, so maybe they’ll have it soon.
Hi, I hope you can help me with this, I got this bm set today i have tryed out a few already (as you do, couldnt wait lol) and some of them just wouldnt pick up on my stamp (example- bm-206- the one just above where it says what plate it is and bm-209 the one with hearts on) I was woundering if you had the same problem with yours? I have tryed using different types of polish (i have tryed thicker ones but that didnt help) Do you know anything i can do to get them working? I have seen people have said that buffering the stamper helps but i dont want to do that if its going to mess up my stamp and have it not work at all…
I will be very grateful for any help fixing my problem. Thanks x
Hey Kimmy!
I haven’t tried that particular design yet, but sometimes it helps if you clean the plate and your stamper with nail-polish remover prior to using it. Also, yes, buffing the stamper can help. No, it won’t mess up the stamper. I’ve done it before. You just need to use a nail file and gently buff it. Sometimes, though, that trick doesn’t do anything.
Let me know if it works. If not, I’ll try to think of what else could be causing this.
