elf Sunset Review
Color
elf Sunset has a super romantic color. It’s a flustered blush shade that is anything but plain – no, siree! It’s got a pearlescent, foil finish that just oomphs up the gorgeous rosy purple color. OMG – I can’t describe how much I’m in love with it.
Finish
You won’t get a super-glossy shine with it. If that’s what you want, then just apply a TC. Naturally, the finish is more of a frosted pearl that’s just oh-so pretty. It really depends on what you like.
Formula & Application
What a dream the elf Sunset nail polish is to apply. Seriously. It’s like butter – the formula is thin enough to spread out easily, but it’s also thick enough to offer great coverage. The brush is easy to work with, offering the perfect application every time.
Lasting Power
About 4 days before I see any chipping. It’s not bad, but not shocking, either. I still think it’s good quality because if you have a good top coat, it’ll extend your wear of this pretty pink-purple color.
Opacity
For whatever reason, I expected this to go on sheerer than lingerie from Victoria’s Secret. But noooo, it’s actually quite opaque, and two coats gave me such wonderful color!
Value
It’s $1. Enuff said. Welllll, maybe I’ll say more. This polish costs only a dollar, but it outperforms polishes by more expensive brands. I would choose this nail polish over a lot of so-called “higher-end” polishes any day!

And there you have it: this is one hot mama of a nail polish. I absolutely love it and would definitely wear again and again. And! If/when I run out, I’d definitely buy again and again.
