Yesterday evening, I attended the KISS 2016 Preview at the Omni King Edward Hotel in downtown Toronto.

I got a firsthand sneak peek at the latest nail and eyelash products that will be launching early next year!

In this post are photos I took during and after the event, as well as my commentary on the whole experience, including the setup, the food, and meeting celebrity manicurist, Gina Edwards.

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Hallowe’en Nails

Halloween Nails imPRESS Manicures

This week, I’m going to share my new step-by-step tutorial for how to create very easy Hallowe’en nail art that anyone can do with little time and just a few supplies most nailphiles already have in their collection. (Hint: It involves just two colours!)

However, in case you wanted to sport more intricate designs on October 31 and don’t have time, I thought I’d show you some of the fun Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Hallowe’en Nails.

Although I don’t wear press-on nails on a regular basis, I have worn them a handful of times as a novelty for special occasions. For Hallowe’en, I may wear a combination of the ones I’ll show you in this post.

What I really enjoy about them is that they fit the size of my nails, which, believe it or not, are small. My fingers are very thin and long, and my nails are therefore proportionately small as well. (But when you see my photos on the blog, keep in mind that you’re seeing them in a photograph that blows them up larger than life. Actually, some readers have voiced their surprise when they meet me in person. They expected my nails and hands to be much bigger, but I’m a petite woman in general.)

To find press-on nails that fit my baby finger, which is extra small, isn’t common. So I appreciated the fact that I can even wear the Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-ons! Plus they’re really easy to apply. You don’t need nail glue. All you do is peel off the tab and stick them onto your nails. (The adhesive is already on the underside of the press-on nail, which is really convenient.)

In this post, you’ll see photos that PR was kind enough to send me, as well as the official press release with more information. They show all the Hallowe’en designs including spider webs, ghosts, candy corn, and more. (You may remember seeing a few that I sprinkled in an Instagram post I shared on the weekend.)

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure Glitz & Glamour Swatches & Review

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure Glitz & Glamour Swatches & ReviewYou’ll remember that on Instagram and some other social-media platforms, I shared with you photos of me wearing Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure (Glitz & Glamour) here and here!

I always keep my nail shape very natural, which for me is rounded. But, I admire the square and squoval tips on other nail blogs. So, this was a fun way to test-drive square nails without committing.

(Rest assured – I won’t be converting my nail shape to squares. I’ve actually learned to appreciate my natural, rounded nail shape more, even if they’re not as trendy as squares. But, when I feel the need to sport something different, I’ll just reach for another pack of Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure nails!)

The imPRESS nails are the very first press-on nails that I’ve ever worn, so it was a new experience for me. And I was surprised by how easy and smooth the whole process was. (They’re ideal for those very busy days when you don’t have time to paint your nails or do nail art, yet you still want something fun.)

Plus they come in tons of different designs, so there’s a look to suit your style.

In this post, I’ll show you lots of swatches of them on my nails, and I’ll go into detail about how they wore, as well as share some tips that you may find helpful.

Quick Look: Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On Manicure

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On ManicureToday, I have something pretty different to share with you!

These are the Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On Manicure nails that you have probably seen at places like Target. (You may remember me sharing the press release about them back in April.)

Thanks to Broadway Nails’ very generous PR team, I have several designs to try out. (I actually have received two additional designs since photographing the ones for this post – yeah, lots and lots of nails!)

The strange thing is that even though I always enjoyed painting my nails, I’ve never tried press-on nails before from any brand. So, these will be my very first! (Fingers, toes, and eyes crossed that I can apply them correctly!)

This is a Quick Look post, so I’ll just give you some close-up photos of each of the five designs, as well as focus on how cute the packaging is – it’s in the shape of nail-polish bottle! I love it! 🙂

In a future post, I’ll do my usual in-depth review with lots of swatches. That’s when I’ll let you know my experience with them, how they wore, how easy or difficult they were to apply, and anything else important worth mentioning.

I’ll put them through a tough test because my full-time job requires me to type a lot on the keyboard. Also, I tend to wash my hands often. I’m curious to see if they’ll hold up to all that or if they’re better suited for special occasions.

My fingers and nails are small and narrow, so it’ll be interesting to see if they’ll fit me. (I think that my nails are smaller than average, since most of the nails displayed on the front of the packaging are too big for me. However, each package comes with 24 different tips, so there’s a good chance my size will be in the mix.

Also, while all my nails are on the curvy side, my index fingernails are extra curvy. I’m going to see if these press-on nails will stick to even my curvy nails. Stay tuned for a future review!

But, for now, let’s just drool over the cute designs!

P.S. In case you missed it, I’m having a worldwide giveaway to celebrate my 4-year blogiversary! Enter until August 6 at 11:59 pm EDT for your chance to win the entire OPI Nordic Collection and a box of 10 OPI Wipe-Off! Wipes. 🙂

P.P.S. Stay tuned because I’ll be having another worldwide giveaway verrrry soon to celebrate my blogiversary! It will run simultaneously as the one mentioned above, and you can enter both. 😉 You won’t want to miss it!

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On Glitter Manicure Press Release

imPress Press-On Manicure by Broadway NailsAlthough I’ve tried a lot of nail products, one thing I haven’t is press-on nails.

Whenever I’ve browsed the nail section at drug stores and caught sight of them hanging neatly in a row, however, I’ve found myself admiring all the intricate patterns. They’re so pretty, and I think it’s quite convenient to have them in a press-on form. Especially if you lead a very busy “ain’t nobody got time fo’ dat” lifestyle, I’m sure these would really come in handy.

Today, I’m sharing with you a press release on the Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-On Glitter Manicure products.
