Today, I have a little taste of Nicole by OPI Love My Pups for you from the upcoming Carrie Underwood Collection that’s set to hit stores in January 2014.
This is a Quick Look post, so it’s a brief sneak peek. Hopefully this little glimpse will whet your appetite. (I plan to do this for a bunch of the Carrie Underwood polishes.)
Then, in January, I’ll be posting my full in-depth reviews, complete with lots of photos when the nail polishes are available.

What’s your first impression of Nicole by OPI Love My Pups? Do you like wearing soft and delicate shades like this, or do you prefer bold hues? Are you a Carrie Underwood fan?
I’ve never tried a nude shade before because I’ve never seen one I’ve really liked but this I will have to try if it’s available in the UK, such a lovely shade.

Wearing this shade went out of my comfort zone, as I tend to wear bold hues on my fingertips. But, I really loved how fresh and clean this shade looked against my skin tone.

I’m not sure if I could pull off a pale color like this with a very pale complexion but I really like it 🙂

If you have a pale complexion, this would probably blend in more and give you the ‘mannequin hand’ effect that was so popular years ago. It’s a pretty look, but I have a very hard time finding my perfect shade. This one contrasts against my skin, but it looks fresh, which sometimes I find difficult to find in a nude polish with my skin tone.
oooooh, I love pale shades like this….four coats does scare me though!

I know what you mean! I think up to 3 coats is okay. Once you go beyond that, the colour must really shine or be special to be worth it. I thought Love My Pups was cute!

Yes, I think so – soft and dainty, which is perfect for a traditional wedding manicure.
I’m not married, but if I ever got married, I would sport really bold, crazy, or silly nail art just because it’s more “me” than soft shades.
