There may still be snow on the ground, and yeah, there was a nasty ice storm not long ago, but guess what? We’re going to focus instead on spring and summer. How does that sound?
PR sent me the OPI Brazil Collection Press Release & Promo Pictures. I’m so excited to share them with you!
The OPI Brazil Collection is set to be officially released in stores on February 5, so circle your calendars!
What I like about this collection is that there’s a huge variety of colours available, so I think there’s something to appeal to everyone.
Which 3 are on my drool-worthy list? The green (haha, what else is new?), bright yellow, and the orange!
Also, the OPI Brazil Collection has a mini set out. (Don’t you just love a cute mini set? Those little bottles always make me say, “Awwww!”)
In that OPI Beach Sandies Liquid Sand Mini Pack, you’ll find 4 shades, all of which are neon with a textured finish. (This set will also be out officially on February 5.)
So, out of all these goodies, which one is calling your name?

OPI Launches Brazil Collection
For Spring/Summer 2014
Brazil by OPI brings the colors of tropical rainforests and warm sandy beaches to nails and toes for Spring/Summer 2014. This new collection features a palette ranging from bright hues of red, pink, coral, orange and yellow to earthy tones of taupe, sienna, mocha and jungle green. In addition to 12 nail lacquers, the Brazil launch includes a set of four limited edition Beach Sandies Liquid Sand™ mini neon nail lacquers in bold purple, pink, turquoise and yellow shades with a textured, matte finish.
“With sun-soaked shores, tropical fruits, and lush flora/fauna, Brazil is such an inspiring locale,” exclaims Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Co-Founder & Executive VP. “I wanted women around the world to embrace the energy and playfulness for which Brazilian women are known. Through the Brazil collection, with shades drenched in color and charged with shine, women can express themselves, showing off their sexy, mysterious, fun and exciting natures.
“On spring runways, models were seen wearing lots of black and white, with bold accents of orange and yellow and muted elements of taupe and clay,” continues Weiss-Fischmann. “Brazil by OPI provides vivid hues to add a pop of color to a neutral-toned wardrobe, as well as earthy tones that easily transition from day to night.”

Which of these colours appeals to you the most? Do you wear yellow nail polish? Do you like mini nail polishes?
Love these colors. I’ll be checking them out as soon as they are available.
Hey Melissa!
You’re going to really love them – there’s so much variety!
I will be marking my calendar/stalking my Ulta 😉
Hey Erin!
On your mark! Get set! GO! Haha, well, not quite yet, but almost! 😉
Love the big bottles (though some of the names are cringeworthy). The mini sands look really dated in the promo picture though. Maybe it’s the lime green, slicked back model, or maybe it’s just bad exposure. I’ll have to see this in person to make my decisions.
Thanks for the sneak peak Mary!
Hey Katy!
You’re most welcome! I’ll be showing a quick look of all these polishes reallllllly soon! Stay tuned! 😉
Holy moly! I admit, I love everything that says Brazil, but this collection would have slayed me even if it were named for something else. Super gorgeous shades. Not sure how the taupe and neutral ones relate to the hot hot hot shades, but I like them anyway! Bikini zone(yuck on the name!) Opi scores a Goal, Red Hot Rio and Amazon(heard this one stains but who cares) look wishlist worthy for sure.
PS, isn’t Brazil famous for their orchids? Looks like OPI missed an opportunity for a radiant orchid shade here.
Hey Lorraine!
Aww, maybe they’re going to put out an orchid shade in another collection! We’ll see!
Hey Lorraine!
Yes, this looks like a major hit! I love how bright and happy some of the shades are. And then there are neutral colours to balance it out.
These are already out in Malaysia since Dec. I’m currently wearing AmazON…AmazOFF on my toes. It is very pretty.
Hey Suzie!
LUCKY YOU! 😀 I was very fortunate that PR sent me the entire collection to try, so I got to see them earlier than the official release date. Can’t wait to share these on here with my readers soon!
Enjoy OPI AmazON…AmazOFF! I am drooling over it in the bottle.
More mini liquid sands? Well, you know that’s going to the top of my wishlist. 🙂 I also really like Where Did Suzi’s Man-go and Next Stop…The Bikini Zone although I do agree with the other reader that that name is a bit cringe worthy.
Hey Tanya!
Haha, you sound like me! I’m absolutely gaga for Liquid Sands!
Yay! Makes me feel warmer just looking at them. Guess I’m gonna have to break down and get another helmer so that these can join the family. 😀
Hey Karen!
I had the same first reaction. I’m soooo tired of the winter, and even though I’m Canadian, I’m not into cold weather. So it’s a lovely sight to see this spring/summer collection! Reminds me that there’s lots of great weather to look forward to.
the ruby red and the forest green are my favorites
Hey Icequeen81!
They both have excellent formulas! I’ll be sharing a Quick Look post on these really soon! Hint hint!
These are goooorgeous! Need those liquid sands! 😀 The other shades look lovely as well, I look forward to seeing swatches 🙂
Hey Renee!
You won’t have to wait too long because I’ll be posting a Quick Look very soon! 🙂
The colors look very interesting, but it’s difficult to know what they really look like from the promo photos. Will you be swatching any (all?) of them?
Hey Montréalaise!
Yes, I will be swatching them all in a Quick Look post that’ll be on here very soon! Then, I’ll show some of them in more depth in individual reviews! 🙂
Love this collection! Great for summer, and I can hardly wait to try them!
Hey Tracy!
Hope you love them as much in person! ENJOY!
I absolutely LOVE these colours. Particularly the Live.Love.Carnaval shade, definitely a necessity for the up and coming spring weather!
Hey Felecia!
So tired of winter! It’s been terribly cold here, and I can’t wait for spring to arrive. Then I can thaw out! 😛
