Mini nail polishes are so adorable, and they’re very economical. You can try out a bunch of colours without having to spend a lot. And if you wind up really liking a particular shade, you can go and get the full-sized version.
(I’ve done that with the OPI La Collection de France! Got the Cafe Cuties mini set, and then rushed out to get a big bottle of both Parlez-Vous OPI? and Louvre Me Louvre Me Not.)
I just love looking at mini bottles all lined up. So cute. And I can’t help but see them as little polish children. šĀ Awww! Don’t ever grow up. You’re just so darn adorable!
Here’s some news on the OPI front. In October, they’ll be coming out with 2 limited-edition mini nail-polish sets.
One has a James Bond theme (OPI Bond-ettes), and the other showcases their top 10 best-selling shades (OPI Top Ten). This is just in time for the upcoming gift-giving season.
Come see large promo pictures of each set, and check out the press release sent to me by OPI’s PR.
This will be the first post of two for today…Keep your eyes peeled later this morning for the next one. š
Here’s a closer look at the mini nail-polish sets:
Are you a James bond fan? I really like the sultry makeup that the model’s wearing. Classic! I want to sport a red lip like that, and I’m already a huge fan of dark eye liner.

I really like using mini nail polishes on my toenails because they have smaller brushes that perfectly fit my Cinderella feet. (Seriously, size 5 feet here!)
Do you collect mini nail polishes? Which of these colours do you like the most? Are you a James Bond fan?
I haven’t seen any of these in my area yet, but I do want to try some of the reds and that gold one based on swatches I’ve seen.

Hey MariJo!
Are you a big James Bond fan?
I wouldn’t say I’m a big fan, but I do appreciate the Bond movies.

Yeah, fair enough. I’d say the same thing…although I can’t even remember the last time I watched one.
i normally dont like mini polishes. im a person who needs to mess with a polish š it freeks me out, if a varnish includes less than 10 ml (0.33 fl.oz.) thats one of the reasons why i like OPI. the big bottles have 15ml (0.5 fl.oz.) š almost enough š
but for some reasons i fell in love with the top 10 set… there are so many polishes that i always wanted to have, but that i never became to buy so its perfect for me š
and the james bond collection: im no big bond-fan but i love the colours and i totally have to get my hands on some of them !

Hey Randi!
You know what? I think you’d love Orly polishes, too…since they have big bottles with 18 mL of polish!
Yes, that Top Ten set does sound great for you. You get so many bestselling colours without having to plunk down a huge chunk of change. š By the way, OPI Tickle My France-y is amazing. I like how it looks like a pinkish nude sometimes, but then looks like a little greyish purple other times.
I am not a fan of mini bottles…2 reasons. 1 – I loose them in my stash (guess I need to make a special box just for minis?) – 2 – usually I have trouble with the tiny brushes in them. Oh and there is a third reason why I don’t tend to like minis – I get maybe 2 pedis out of a bottle and then I am digging and twisting to try and get the polish left out of the bottom of the bottles…not my idea of a fast polish job when the bottle is a pain. But on the other hand – rare that I ever get all the way through 1 reg size bottle unless it’s one of maybe 6-8 top all time fav shades and then i can go through 5 or more bottles of the same shade. I think I am on my 5th bottle of OPIs Let Me Entertain You – love that shade and of course it was a ltd from the Burlesque collection…glad I bought some back ups when it was still in retail. It’s a popular one and is started to really go up in price now on secondary mkt.
Hey beachgal!
HOLY SMOKES – your 5th bottle? I’ve only ever finished 1 bottle of polish, so 5 is incredible! Hehe, yes, I can tell you loved it.
How many bottles of it did you buy? (Smart that you stocked up when it was just sold at retail! You clearly know what you like! :D)
