Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush Review & Pictures

Two days ago, I showed you a dome-shaped kabuki. Today I’m going to share with you the best flat-top kabuki brush I’ve ever used – the Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush.

I use it with my mineral foundation by the same brand (review on that coming soon), and it applies makeup like a dream with very little effort.

I’ll tell you why I think this brush is a must-have item.

The Review

This is the brush I reach for most mornings because it’s so easy to use (and compact, too). This little guy measures in at just 4.2 inches long and 1 inch wide. It’s 2.2 inches from the ferrule (the metal part) to the tip. They say that good things come in small packages – well, it certainly rings true with this.

The synthetic bristles are incredibly soft, full, and dense. I tap my brush into some mineral makeup, swirl it around the container’s cover, and then pat it all over my face (starting with my forehead, and then cheeks, chin, and nose). In a circular motion, I buff it all out.

If you don’t want sheer coverage and if you want to apply a slightly heavier coverage without the layering, the Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush is the perfect choice.

I also love how not only is this brush vegan (100% cruelty-free bristles), but it’s also environmentally friendly since it boasts a bamboo handle. Bamboo, as you know, is a renewable resource.

The tip of the brush is whitish compared to the rest, which is brown. In my pictures it looks off-white because my makeup stained it a little. When you buy it, your brand-new brush has white tips.

The Everyday Minerals Flat Top Brush is perfect for applying mineral foundation and powders that you need to buff into the skin for that airbrushed look. I wouldn’t recommend it for blushes because the dense bristles will lay down too much product, and you’ll wind up looking like Bozo the Clown – not a chic look.

Pros

  • Dense soft bristles
  • Economical
  • 100% Cruelty-free synthetic bristles (Vegan)
  • Eco-friendly product because it has a renewable bamboo handle
Cons

  • Can only be ordered online

Final Verdict: 10/10

Bring this baby home if you want flawless fuller coverage with minimal effort. Plus the compact size fits nicely in your hand. You haven’t seen how great your mineral makeup can look until you’ve applied it using this!
