Attention all ghouls and goblins!
There’s a new Hallowe’en nail-polish collection hitting stores this October – the China Glaze Monsters Ball Collection!
Hallowe’en is my favourite holiday, so I’m always excited to see what comes out when the weather gets cooler and when fun costumes make their way to grocery-store aisles.
The other day, I was at Shoppers Drug Mart and saw their new Hallowe’en display. They had a toy clown in a cage where you could press a button to activate it. I did so, and even though I expected something shocking, I didn’t expect what happened, so I jumped!
I was never into clowns. Having seen Stephen King’s movie, It, when I was way too young may have affected me.
Haha, and this toy clown had a high-pitched voice that was loud and abrupt. Plus the toy lunged forward and stuck its head through the soft cage bars!
If you swing by Shoppers, go check it out. But make sure that your heart can take it, first! 😉
Going back to the China Glaze Monsters Ball Collection, I like how there are lots of fun glitters included. Howl You Doin’ and Bat My Eyes really speak to me!
I’m also really pleased to see that China Glaze collaborated with and gave visible credit to Abigail Larson, the illustrator. If you don’t know why this is particularly important, do a little Googling about what happened last Hallowe’en. You’ll understand why it’s a big deal. 🙂
There are 6 shades in the China Glaze Monsters Ball Collection:
- Howl You Doin’
- Bat My Eyes
- Boo-Gie Down
- Fang-tastic
- Bump in the Night
- Ghoulish Glow

Which colour(s) is/are calling your name the loudest? Will you be wearing a costume this Hallowe’en? Do you give out candy to kids on October 31st?
That purple glitter would be awesome for the wedding I’m in tomorrow.
Hey Amy!
Oh, congratulations to whoever is getting married! 🙂 May they have a long, happy, and passionate marriage!
*GASP* I think it’s fair to say I will likely be getting ALL of these!!!

Hey Lizzy!
Hehe, you sound like me. Hallowe’en collections (and fall collections) get me every single time!
They look fantastic! I really hope they will be relesed here in sweden in october too! 😀
Hey Amelia!
I hope so, too! In Sweden, do China Glaze collections tend to arrive later or at the same time as in Canada/US? I wonder…
Now They’re in sweden in a lot off places, but not a single one sell the Gholish glow top coat! 🙁
Wow, guess that one’s REALLY popular. It makes sense, though, since China Glaze typically repromotes it during Hallowe’en.
Hope you can snatch up a bottle somewhere!
I’ve seen this collection in stores and grabbed a bottle of Bump In The Night. It’s amazing. I want to try the glitters too though.
Hey Maddy!
Hehe, and the name is fun – Bump in the Night! 🙂
These are cute, but mostly I’m really amused by the adorable name for their black texture polish.

Hey Icequeen81!
The glitters look amazing!
yes 🙂
I am kind of interested in the glow in the dark, the black texture and the purple glitter.
Hey Tanya!
I have a few glow-in-the-dark polishes, but this year, I want to wear China Glaze Ghoulish Glow finally! Hopefully I’ll be able to capture it glowing with my camera.
I like all of them, but Fang-tastic is my favorite. I’ll most likely be buying more of these. LOL
Hey Melissa!
Hehe, like potato chips, we can’t stop at just one, right? 😉 NAILPHILES UNITE!
