Calling all nail-art enthusiasts! You’re going to love the Bundle Monster Create Your Own Collection of nail-stamping image plates!
A while back, Bundle Monster held a contest, asking nailphiles to submit their design ideas for new nail plates.
For the new collection, they chose all fan-created images, which I think is pretty cool. (Companies that value the opinions of their customers and fans get a big thumbs up from me, and Bundle Monster always seems to take feedback well!)
In today’s post, I’ll show you all 26 plates in the Bundle Monster Create Your Own Collection, and I’ll share with you my thoughts on each.
Then, in future posts, I’ll show you some nail art I come up with using the images from these plates – stay tuned!
Bundle Monster Create Your Own Collection Pictures
The collection of plates come in a stack neatly stored in a small package.
Each plate comes with a blue film on top that must be removed before use.
If you pick a little at the edge, you can easily peel off this blue film.
There’s a paper backing so that the plates aren’t sharp.
Now to show off each plate individually! 🙂 Are you ready? I am!
Below each image plate, I’ll add some commentary, so we can walk through the designs together.
My favourite image from BM-401 is the octopus (or maybe the tentacles). They’re very unique, and you may remember a long time ago, I did freehand octopus nail art! 😉
Hands down, the whimsical monocle and mustache are just screaming out to me, saying, “Pick me! Pick meeee!”
I like the geometric designs because you could do so many different combinations, and each manicure would look completely different. Plus for those who aren’t comfortable drawing straight lines, stamping them on is much more manageable.
The thought bubble is a cute idea, and you could write whatever word you want inside or even stamp a little image inside. I’m thinking about putting a little sheep inside, so it looks like you’re ‘counting sheep’.
I remember folding origami cranes! Haha, I wasn’t very good at it when I was a kid and a beginner. (There was a lot of pressure to do a good job, and I remember my hands sweating and making the folds not as crisp!)
Also, a few years ago, my friend taught me how to fold a rose. She made it look so easy, but I had difficulty because it was the most intricate design I ever tried to do. So, again, I got nervous and my hands began to sweat. By the end of it, my rose looked like it had wilted. 😉
So, at least now with this Bundle Monster image, I can create a crane without perspiring! Haha!
The little hearts incorporated into the wavy wire full-nail design is my favourite on this plate because it’s simple yet very interesting. I think it’s refreshing because it’s not your standard cluster of hearts.
*Squeals* The birdcage is super cute! And I can see myself using the anchors for some nautical manicures! I also really like the artistic trees (top centre) because they have an abstract appearance.
The confetti looks like a lot of fun, and it’s the perfect option for those who want the look of glitter, but who don’t want to deal with the inevitable struggle during removal. Very clever!
I also think the numbers are cool because they’re all different sizes and angled in an interesting way. It would be cute to pair this with the “I <3 Geeks” image from the BM-401 plate.
Hehe, look at the Bundle Monster logo! I’ve always thought the monster in the box is quirky, so it’s nice to see it on a nail plate finally.
I love the lightbulbs with heart tungsten. This is another great way to sport hearts without being traditional.
Aww, the firefly is adorable! You could use a dotting tool to add a ‘trail’. I’ve gotta do that sometime soon for easy and quick nail art!
WOW – my favourite design in the entire Bundle Monster Create Your Own Collection has to be the musical notes.
I used to play the piano, clarinet, flute, and saxophone. So when I see the treble clef, sharps, flats, base clef, and musical notes, it brings back great memories!
I had a t-shirt that I bought during a trip to Prince Edward Island, which had the exact same dot pattern as the design on the right.
The full skeleton here is so funny because, to me, it looks like (s)he’s doing a funky dance. “Put your hands in the air, and wave ’em all around like you just don’t care!” 😉
I have small nails, though, and it looks like I may only be able to use the skeleton on my thumb. All my other fingers will cut poor Mr. Skelly Ton in half.
The skyline is too cool! I must try it with a ‘sunset’ gradient in the background or a starry night sky.
I also like the tracks because you could make your nails look like little baseballs!
I love this plate because it’s so quirky! The word-search is a must-try for me!
Cool – now you can create a splatter manicure without having to make a mess by blowing polish onto your nails with a straw!
Patience, grasshopper! Although I’m not big on insects, I think they look cool in nail art!
I like the recycling symbol and can see myself sporting it for Earth Day.
The image on the top left looks like a crown, and I like how it’s very different!
I got so excited when I saw the tuxedo and corset designs, but when I put my nails up to the image, it looks like those might be too wide for my narrow, small nails. It’s possible for me to maybe fit them on my thumb nails, but I don’t think enough of the image will show on my other fingers, and especially not my pinkie! (I’ll still have to try it to be sure.)
Haha, the mean messages in the hearts are cruel! “U Stink”, “Don’t Call Me”, “Get a Life”, “Loser”, etc.!
I like the brick wall. The first thing that came to mind was to paint Humpty Dumpty sitting on top of the wall.
Yay for popcorn! Mmm, now I’m craving it.
Whenever I see movies in the theatre, I always get popcorn with butter. And even if the film is a flop, sometimes having a delicious snack can save it. 😉 Do you agree?
I’m loving the cute pandas and the bamboos. Even those paw prints are adorable. I’d use all of these images together.
I’m not too crazy about having words on my nails, but who knows? I may use the “I <3 You” design.
Again, I don’t usually like words (or letters) on my nails, so this plate isn’t my favourite. However, the swirl in the centre looks neat and hypnotizing! 😉

Bundle Monster Create Your Own Review
Plates
Each of image plate is made of metal, and there are designs etched into them. In order to pick up the image, you apply nail polish over it, scrape off the excess, and then pick up the design with your stamper.
When I was a newbie at nail stamping, I put together a quick and dirty nail stamping tutorial that you may want to check out if you’re just starting out.
When I create manicures with the various designs, I’ll better test out the transfer quality. When the etching has deep enough grooves for the polish, you can get the image to show up better on your nail.
I appreciate how the nail stamping plates have paper backings because this ensures the discs aren’t sharp. Also, I like how it makes the plates feel more substantial and not flimsy.
Designs
There are 26 image plates, which is the largest collection that Bundle Monster has ever released – very exciting!
Some of the plates contain more than 6 images, and there is a total of over 150 designs to choose from! You can definitely find what you need to create a one-of-a-kind manicure. No problem! Well, the only problem you may have is picking only a few to use at a time! 😉
Packaging
The plates come in a plastic package, which is disposable. You’ll need to store your plates in either a binder like the one I showed in this post, a Zip-lock bag, or a box for safety.

Final Verdict: 10/10
The Bundle Monster Create Your Own Collection is probably my favourite set that they’ve come out with. I love how the designs are quirky and very unconventional. I can see myself using the vast majority of these images.
Which image plate is your favourite? If you could create your own image plate, what would be on it?
Wooowww some of these are sooo cool! I love how original these designs are! The one with the candy hearts gone bad really made me laugh haha :). Great pictures as well, no reflection or anything!
Hey Eva!
Haha, yeah, I wasn’t expecting those messages on the hearts, so when I read them, I laughed, too!
Aww, thanks! It actually was really tricky photographing the plates and not getting myself or furniture (etc.) in the reflection, so I’m really happy that you commented on it! 😀
Too Cool! So many cool designs. I’ve got to buy some of these Bundle Monster plates. I think I’ll start with this set.
Hey Melissa!
Good idea – this is my favourite set from them! 🙂 Hope you love the discs as much as I do!

Hey Lizzy!
Haha, they just keep coming out with winning set after winning set after winning set, don’t they? 😉
There are soooo many awesome designs here! I tried to read the whole blog closely but I didn’t see dimensions mentioned? I have a hard time finding full images that fit my nails, even when they’re super short!

Hey Nail Polish Society!
Sorry about that! Okay, I measured the largest full-nail design right now and it was 1.7 cm by 1.3 cm. I hope that helps!
These are great. Love the nerdy stamps! BTW, in case anyone is wondering, the translation for the binary code stamp:
01001100 = L
01001111 = O
01010110 = V
01000101 = E
01011001 = Y
That design was mine. ^_^ It was actually LOVEYOU originally, but I guess the bottom two lines wouldn’t fit on the plate. I’m glad someone noticed that it spelled something!
Hey Melissa!
Wow, congratulations on having one of your designs make it into the Bundle Monster plate set! 🙂 And how clever of you that you wanted to work in the LOVEYOU hidden message. How cool!
Hey Elisa!
That’s sooooo cool how they spell that out. Thanks for sharing! I never would’ve known. How cool that there’s a secret binary message. I’m liking it even more now!
I bought the skeleton plate & the grooves seem to be to shallow for it to work. When I swipe the excess nail polish off there’s no polish left in the grooves. I’ve used other nail plate brands without having that problem. Has anybody been able to use the bm skeleton nail plate & if so can you help me figure out what I’m doing wrong?
Hey Diana!
Hmm, it’s possible that you’re scraping the plate too hard. Try doing it lighter to see if it makes a difference.
If it’s really bad, maybe contact the place you bought it from (Bundle Monster or elsewhere) and ask nicely for a replacement. It could’ve been a faulty plate because mine worked perfectly, and I was able to pick up the design without trying hard.
Thanks for the close up look and your thoughts about all the plates. I’ve been thinking about getting this set since it came out.
Hey Jill!
It’s my pleasure, and I’m so happy to hear that you found it useful! 😀
